My wife and I just spent 3 nights at Knolls Court Motel on beautiful Matlacha. If you are the pretentious type, go spend a lot of money at the snobby resorts, this motel is not for you. If you're laid back and want a gorgeous...More
The pictures say it all. We were told hotel had been recently renovated by the new owner. $149 a night and nowhere else to stay on this little island had me in panic mode once I saw how rundown this was. The best part at...More

The closest place to put the boat in is at the Matlacha County boat ramp & park. It's only 2 blocks away and a quick boat ride. We can accommodate 1 trailer & vehicle in our driveway here.

Because of the barrier Islands, we do not have any beaches here. We are right on the water. We do have a secret around here that is close by. It is probably on of the best beaches in SW Florida and you'll never have a ton of people on it while you are there. Its a National Park called Cayo Costa, you can only get there by boat and has about an 8 mile long beach that is pristine! We have a ferry on north Pine Island that makes two runs a day that can take you over to enjoys a relaxing day!!
