In my opinion, this is the nicest place to stay in Quilotoa. Staff was incredibly friendly and warm with us- they gave us good recommendations, were very helpful, and overall made us feel very welcome. A bit pricier (in Ecuador standards, so if you're from the states it's still very cheap), but worth it due to the fact that breakfast...

Perfect for our final stop on the Quilotoa loop, meaning we didn't have to drag our exhausted bodies further round the lagoon. Bit pricier than other places around. Great food. Good wifi. Comfy beds, with option of a fire in the room. Staff were helpful and we paid by card.

The room is nice and is cosy once they light the fire and the location is good but its a small village so any location is good. The staff are quite rude and not accommodating and took up the only warm place in the lounge. The food is not good, we paid for lunch here and had overcooked meat and...

We stayed here one night in a dorm. Overall ok but not the best stay on the loop. I wasn't really keen on the served food, specially since dinner got served 50 minutes late, what hurts after a seven hour hike. A commune area with fire place was would have helper a lot. If I would ever come back to...

We stayed in 3 hostals while hiking Quilotoa loop - a night in a cheap but so-so hostal in Latacunga, another night in an overpriced hostal in Chugchilán, and one night here in Chukirawa. This place is the heaven and I definitely recommend it. please understand this hostal is not a 5-star hotel in big cities. But for its location,...

Fantastic location, right beside the crater. Very unusual hostel, and it was very cold while we were there. The option is there to burn wood in stoves in the rooms, but this generates a lot of smoke! The road journey up to the hostel is an adventure in itself, especially in the dark. What a great location!

Unfortunately Quilotoa doesn't have nice hostals as the previous places where we have stayed while hiking the Quilotoa Loop which is a shame as this place probably has more tourists than than Isinlivi and Chungchilan, the service is also not comparable this is the reason why I am giving a 3 stars instead of 4, They should definitely improve their...

Quilotoa is full of pretty bad restaurants and unpleasant accomodations. Chukirawa is probably tour best bet in this lacking town. They have hot water, the rooms are kept warm at night and are clean and spacious. The food is decent but the portions are small so don't rely too much on it. They do have power and decent wifi though.

I stayed in a double here with my friend when starting the quilotoa loop. Even in the off season it was wicked crowded, but staff were still really responsive and accommodating. The room was comfortable with clean and warm blankets and a wood burning stove. We didn't get hot water working, but in all fairness that may have been user...

I think it must be the best place in Quilotoa. The rooms have a nice atmosphere and a fireplace for the cold nights. The restaurant is basic. Mostly the half of the menu's what they offer are not there. The staff is really friendly
