We had a soccer tournament for our son the weekend of 11/19-11/20/22. We stayed there a few years back when our daughter was young and we went to Disney. The hotel was great back then and it was great now! Way to go guys! We had a great time. The hotel was nice and clean! Just what a traveling family wants! We will be back!!
We planned an unexpected trip to Orlando. We flew over night from California to Florida. Upon arrival at the Holiday Inn, Ivan and Luz where so nice to us. They helped us get settled and figure out what we could do with our stay. The hotel is not expensive but it’s clean and a really good value. The hotel is also in a safe fun area. Close distance to everything. If I go back I will be staying at that hotel especially if Luz and Ivan are working there.
The pillows were so fluffy! And! The bed was so cozy! But I could hear our neighbors screaming at each other! Ew! How awkward is that right? The bathroom was so white and clean! But the water in the shower hit the ceiling and made a slip and slide out of the floor! Whoa! Be careful! Other than that it was Devine!!
I booked this stay through the IHG website as I use IHG properties almost exclusively. The Celebration Area hotel didn't disappoint. My flight to FL was cancelled due to the hurricane and when I called to say that I wouldn't be coming on the first night, they didn't charge me for even though they could have. I arrived at 3:00am, two days after my original plan and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I had the pleasure of meeting the GM, Dahver, (hope I spelled that right) on the morning of my checkout and he exemplified why the staff were so accommodating throughout the hotel. I look forward to a return visit and will definitely stay here.
We found ourselves needing a one night stay while traveling and ended up booking through IHG. We arrived to find an outdated Disney Good Neighbor hotel that has definitely seen better days. The area seemed sketchy, but there were lots of people checking in. The staff was very accommodating in finding us a “just cleaned” room since we had just arrived at checkin time. We ended up in the second building in a king room on the 8th floor. I was not very happy to see a outdated facility, but kept quiet in order to not judge so quickly. I’m glad I did. We entered a room with a clean smell, good looking linens, dusted furniture and plenty of lighting - except in the bathroom where the light was so dim you could barely see yourself in the 1985 wall to wall mirror. I made a call to the front desk and within 15 minutes, maintenance has come to room and immediately began work on replacing the entire lighting fixture. In under 30 minutes, the new fixture was in and the bathroom was lit like Times Square. The gentleman was professional, skilled and expedient. The tv was an updated smart unit with a good variety of channels. The cold refrigerator and microwave was clean and in great working order. The front desk called to see if everything was fine and we requested an extra set of towels as we are thinking of some time in the hot tub downstairs. Again, expedient and cheerful service from the staff with towel sets delivered to our room. The next morning we took advantage of the full breakfast buffet included in our stay. It was so much more than a continent breakfast, with a pleasant compliment of several staff serving eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, pancakes, waffles, breads and muffins, a variety of juices and good coffee. This within itself beats out most $200 night hotels. Our check out was a breeze. We travel through the area annually and usually make early reservations at an upscale name hotel, but if you want great service at a reasonable price and a very clean room and extremely comfortable bed, you will not go wrong with this Holiday Inn.…
My wife and I stayed at the hotel while visiting the family. The staff is very polite and the hotel room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a great location, closed to several attractions and at around a 20 minutes drive from the airport
Once a year we have a show and the Holiday Inn cannot do any more for us than they do. All needs are met, the ballroom is set up to our convenience and the staff is wonderful.. If you need a place for an event, contact them.
The entire staff was extremely professional and helpful. I could not think of a friendlier place to hold our group's Annual Pet Skunk Show! We will definitely be back next year. Come to the show next October 14, 2023
Very Nice Room with king size bed and two tv’s, one facing bed, and other facing couch. Large size refrigerator and cabinets. Only issue was paint peeling over bed and inside closet. And no dressers to put clothes in. It would have been good to have silverware and dishes.
First of all, let me say we were blessed to have shelter and food during Hurricane Ian. There was a mandatory evacuation for us living on the water in Pinellas county. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Special thanks to Oneeph at the front desk. He went above and beyond to help us find the hotel ( we had been driving for 5 hours and got lost in Kissimmee). He helped us with our luggage and was a very friendly face in a stressful time. Very helpful and professional The hotel is older and could use a bit of renovation. Several things did not work in our room and I had to spend a lot of time with staff to get everything working. During the storm, our room, the elevators, and the first floor all had water coming in. We were on the 5th floor. Windows and doors should be upgraded. They gave us another room and it was fine. Difficut times difficult situation but we all got thru it. Thank you.…
