The atmosphere and service is superb. Breakfast is very good and the daily happy hour is a plus. Fatima and Nicole are awesome and treat you like family. We have been here for 3 conferences over the years and the service is A+. Alan the manager of the bar from New Jersey is a great guy.
My husband stays here often for work. I was able to join him a couple of weeks during the summer. I can see why he keeps coming back. From Natalie and the entire reception area to Fatima and the entire bar staff and every department in between… everyone goes above and beyond to ensure we have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The 2 bedroom suites are so spacious and clean. I was able to get work done without feeling like I was trapped in a cramped hotel room. I also enjoyed the other amenities such as the pool, the gym, and of course the breakfast buffet and happy hour. Now, when my husband comes back for work and I can’t come with, I will feel so jealous!
This hotel decided it was a good idea to regularly host “youth conventions” be prepared to have dozens of unsupervised and disrespectful kids running around the hotel, holding open elevator doors, hitting all the buttons in the elevator, unsafe behavior, etc. Made our stay extremely unpleasant.
When I arrived, the fridge was making a loud noise. I attempted to call the front desk, but the room phone wasn't working. I called on my cell and a repairman came up quickly with a pre cooled fridge. Very good service. He told me the phone was probably part of a larger problem they were having with the internet access. Later that evening, I attempted to heat up a sandwich in the microwave and the microwave turntable was not turning. I called it in and the same maintenance man brought up a good microwave. When I went to bed the remote for the bedroom TV was not working. I never called that in. The next morning, none of the channels on the TV were working and the internet access was bouncing up and down. I did not call that in either. When I came back in the afternoon, the TV channels and the internet seemed to be working ok. I reported all of my frustrations to someone at the front desk upon check out, and she refunded my parking fee for the duration of my stay. I have stayed at this property many times and never had an experience like this. For the room rates that are charged, nothing should be wrong throughout the property IMO.…
I am a Diamond member that is faithful to the brand and while this hotel does its best to keep the grounds and interior clean, there needs to be some updating done to rooms with growing mold (I have video and photos, if management cares to see it) and condensation on windows. I discovered this the night before I checked out and was very disheartened. The carpet had a bad smell at check-in, which we requested house cleaning with air refresher. They came by to spray the carpet but it did not help for the 5 nights we stayed. The restaurant food was good and the staff were very delightful. It’s in a great location for Disney, restaurants and shopping but families need to be mindful of the environment that they place their kids, especially with allergies.
We were here as a recommendation from a school group parent who recommended this place at a block room rate. The breakfast was great, best ever for a hotel chain. The gym was nice and current with machines and equipment. No complaints. The happy hour snacks were a little scarce but it was a nice event.
We have been coming to this hotel in November for years and still feel comfortable here. However, some things have deteriorated. For breakfast there is only plastic cutlery and paper plates! 2 years ago this was considered a measure because of the Corona pandemic, meanwhile this is probably outdated. We were subsequently in another Hilton hotel - also 3 stars - and got silverware for breakfast! It gets even worse at the evening reception: all drinks are only served in plastic cups. The Chardonnay is excellent - but from a plastic cup virtually undrinkable. Red wine from a plastic cup is better not tasted at all. And if you ask for a glass you get the answer: we are not allowed to give it to you. You pay up to $300 a night and are served here on the level of a burger jointI! The only explanation: the great management of this hotel has found out that it is cheaper to pollute the environment with plastic than to try to keep a reasonable level. And it becomes completely absurd when you read the following sentence on the invoice: WE ARE A FLORIDA GREEN LODGING ESTABLISHMENT. WE CARE ABOUT OUR ENVIRONMENT Suggestion to the management: take this sentence seriously and finally understand that in the year 2022 you should not pollute the environment with vast amounts of plastic just because it is cheaper but come back to the level this hotel had before …
Our room was layered in Dust. The sink needed to be called twice as it was stopped up. The maid either threw out or took our snacks we brought with us. Seemingly minimal it was a 1 lb bag of almonds. A bunch of bananas and organic cookies for my granddaughter i had bought as q xmas present. We were compensated 20 dollars. But that is not the point. When We left a google review and how did your Director of Sales and Marketing Warren Bingham handl3 it? By insinuated we were lying about the snacks. Wording is everything. Telling us " supposedly missing snacks" was insulting and terrible public relations. Also the fresh fruit cups had moldy blueberries that we were given.
Overall, this was the nicest hotel we stayed at in this price point in Orlando. The two room layout was very spacious and clean. The shower had great water pressure. And the windows gave us a beautiful view on the 10th floor. We even watched Epcot’s light show and Seaworld’s fireworks in the distance. Breakfast was top notch and the lobby’s Christmas tree was beautiful. Some things of interest: breakfast 6:30-9:30, evening reception 5:30-7 (3 bowls of trail mix, pretzels, goldfish, and sodas for those that don’t think alcohol like us).
Wonderful hotel & employees! If just smelled like whoever cleaned the room sprayed an entire bottle of Lysol and moved on to the next room! The smell never died down. Other than that it was a great stay! We walked barefoot in the room as well and our feet turned black so that grossed us out. Just because it smells “clean” doesn’t mean it is!
