Close to everything. Disappointed that the bar area is being renovated during our stay. Had a bug in our bed was really annoying. Had to take bed apart and did not find it. Bathroom toilet so small area. Saw a mouse leaving the pool yesterday and sitting at the pool 2 squirts kept annoying us.
This place is a spectaculare venue with great emmenities and serivce and only needs some updates in certain areas to be World Class. The food servies were suprisingly good and price like most other restraunts in the area. The so called champion ship minature golf course was in very poor condition and as the problem with most hotels and resorts in the US the internet was fair to poor at best.
Orange Lake has got to be the biggest and best time share resort in the World. Great golf courses and facilities to suit children and adults alike. I advice folks to experience this great resort just down the road from all the Disney Entertainment.
I was very disappointed with this resort. When you check in there are 2 lines. One is to check in and the other is to get your room key and parking pass. It's the second line that is horrific because in order to get your room key they are going to offer you a "tour" of the facility. Now this "tour" includes a aggressive sales pitch for the time share sales. I politely told the gentleman no. He was not taking no for an answer and became even more aggressive with me. After saying no 7 more times. As a Elite with IHG I am not used to be treated with such abuse and disrespect. I will not be going back to this place nor do I recommend anyone going there. I reserved a King Bed Deluxe room and did not get it. Had 2 doubles instead. Old and out dated.
We made a reservation 5 weeks out. We asked for a king bed, upper level with a balcony and a jetted tub if possible. We got there shortly before 9 and were given a first floor. They told us it had a jetted tub and a separate shower. We got there at the way back of the resort to find they had put us in a handicap room, no jetted tub. They also said there wasn't really a free breakfast like they advertised but they gave us meal credits that were supposed to be usable from our room card. The card was never loaded with what they promised us so we couldn't use it. We went to Disney early and there was supposed to be a marketplace that had coffee and breakfast sandwiches open at 6:30. We'll be there at 6:35 and had to bang on the door to get someone to open it for us. No breakfast sandwiches just junkie breakfast food. When we shared with the management what are issues were I felt like I was being scolded everything was our fault not theirs. Would never go back and certainly would never think of buying a timeshare there.…
First I booked 4 months in advance of our vacation! I booked 2 -3 bedroom villas for our family of 12. We were assured our villas would be next to each other, on same floor in same building! I even called to make sure they had all of our requests ready and attended to before our arrival! When we checked in they put half of our party in 868 building and the other 6 people 3 buildings away!! So then after the entire day was wasted they moved the 2nd rooms to our building but on the 5th floor! Both rooms had a foul Odor and several things were broken! The entire first day was wasted in the room as we had several workers in and out to fix broken showers, toilets, stove top burners, etc.. we were just stuck waiting for things to be fixed! Then my husband a plumber had to fix toilets from running and reattaching the chains over and over! Black mold was growing inside toilet tanks and lids! That may have been the odor?? We were told we had to go on a presentation the 2nd day there, which took up at least 5 hours! We were lied to, and even the gifts we were given were a complete joke! As you could only spend at the resort and they kept 25.00 of the 100 $ card because we changed our minds on an item and the store on site said they could not reverse charges for 10 days! By then we would be home. We were told pools were heated and they were barely warm! Overall it was a place to sleep but everything on property was over priced and the sales person was extremely fake! He told us completely false info to get us to buy! Luckily the notary was honest and saved us thousands of dollars…
I almost got reeled in with this timeshare because it was just that good but hopefully sometime in the near future we'll eventually "invest" in one of these things. The resort is absolutely beautiful and huge, there is so much to do. The 2 hour timeshare showcase definitely took a long time and man do they really trying to reel you in, they are persistent! But in the end it was well worth it because we got a $200 dollar giftcard to use in the resort (paid for lunches among other things with that so SCORE) -- If you are doing this deal where you need to sit in on the timeshare show, please do it as soon as you get there so you can just get it out the way. And show that you are not interested so they leave you alone quicker! (my husband and I did the complete opposite and well lost almost 3 hours of our vacation because of it, so take my advice lol) Anyways, back to the resort, definitely grab a map and a schedule of the events that are happening, it'll be crazy how you never even want to leave the resort, the entertainment is that good. The management does a great job of maintaining the property, kudos to them. The rooms was amazing, if you want to save time and money, I highly suggest ordering groceries prior to your arrival so it's all there once you check in. You have everything you need in your own full sized kitchen. You have a patio where you can drink your coffee (but maybe not in peace because of creatures lol). Rent out a cabana for the family, you won't regret it.…
We have stayed here many times both in the villas and the high rises without disappointment. Resort is always so well maintained, nice amenities. I have no complaints ever. This is my resort of choice.
The resort is large with well kept grounds and common areas. The units are large, clean and comfortable. Lots to do on the resort as well. There are two 18 hole golf courses as well as a 9 hole walking course. Many pools as well as a huge river pool with slides. We mainly played golf and just relaxed but many young families and multigenerational families were enjoying their vacations here.
Amazing resort-lots of activities to do with my wife. A nice walk in the morning then played bingo and after relax by the pool in the afternoon then bag toss shuffleboard or putt putt ( Whatever we felt like) lots of restaurants on site. I could even go golfing on 1 of their 4 courses. Unit had everything needed. Tony (Mgr Engineering) made things right very quickly What a fantastic stay
