Ive never seen so many signs about what you can't do in a Hotel ever. They are everywhere! also, they give you a bike to use that is included with the purchase of one of the room but they are trash. I was riding down the street on the way back to the hotel when the chain came off the...

This is a real find. A little off the beaten path, but that is what you want in Key West. Pros:Staff is top notch, their bike rates are very reasonable (be sure to rent bikes!!!), free cocktail hour is a fantastic perk, plenty of high quality sunscreens to use, lending book library is packed, hammocks to rest in, and the...

Every year my friends and I travel down to Key West in search of sun, sand, fun and adventure. This year our group blossomed to 16. With much happy anticipation, we collectively decided on giving Eden House a try. Most of our group consisted of couples so we ended up booking 4 rooms of the quaint resort, 2 of them...

Dear StellzBellz, I am sorry that your group came to the Eden House looking for sand and adventure. We aren't on the beach and we ask that our guests be respectful of others during our quiet time. Therefore sand and adventure are out of the question at the Eden House. We do welcome groups but not at the expense of...

After looking at the photos and reading some great tripadvisor reviews I decided to book two nights at Eden House. In all honesty I was a little skeptical because at the time of booking it was relatively expensive considering the small, and fairly basic rooms. With that said, you have to experience Eden House to appreciate it's high acclaim.. The...

First time stayer, and if given the opportunity will return. The place made you feel as though you were home away from home, and is a great change up from typical hotels----it gives you more of the local experience. Clean, maintained, most powerful shower I ever had in my room anyway, and personable/helpful.

We live in Marathon, just an hour drive to Key West, so we love to get off our rock for another rock every once in awhile. When we spend the night in KW we always stay at Eden House. It's convenient to Duval Street and the Bight while being a little out of the way and quiet. They have all...

Quiet, clean, comfortable and stylish vintage hotel within walking distance/short taxi ride to most attractions. The hotel grounds are immaculate and well-maintained. The hammock area is very inviting and the poolside happy hour was much appreciated.

This was a last minute booking as we had business near Miami and decided to head to the Keys for a couple of days. I read the reviews of several small hotels and decided to take a chance on the one with the best reviews, but definetly not the least expensive. The Eden House was impressive from the first phone...

We got a really nice room behind the pool area and stayed on a Friday and Saturday night. It was $550.00 total but was 2 blocks from the main strip which was awesome to have such a short walk to everything. I loved the tea that they put out for the customers to have in the afternoon. The free breakfast...

Dear Ramzmom, Thanks so much for the nice review and I hope we see you again in the not too distant future. I do want to mention that we are five blocks off of Duval Street, the main drag. If someone reads that we are only two blocks from Duval and finds out it's actually five, they might blow a...

This was our first trip to Key West and I was hesitant about booking at Eden House since I was only used to chain hotels. We assumed it was going to be small or not so clean. Quite the opposite. The place is beautiful, relaxing, and clean. My husband and I really felt as though we were guests in someone's...

Hi Maria, I am so pleased that you left your comfort zone to visit us at the Eden House. And I don't blame you for having a backup plan. The bottom line for myself and my staff is that our guests experience the Key West that relocated all of us to the island. Key West is as much of a...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Relax In Old Town Key West! The Eden House's first priority has been to maintain a clean inn, offer a comfortable bed, reasonable rates and have a staff that cares. Next comes the heated pool and Jacuzzi, hammocks, porch swings, waterfalls, sundeck, free off-street parking, café and lush gardens. We will have a cold drink for you at check-in and our daily complimentary 'happy hour' is poolside. Then at 10 PM we will dim the lights and let you get a good nights rest. Our night staff will not put a mint on your pillow but they will walk the grounds to insure that you won't be disturbed. I have owned and managed the Eden House for 27 years. I like to think that my staff and me do the 'little' things that will make your stay in Key West a memorable one. Key West is notorious for it's nightlife. Whether it is a sunset sail, a snorkel or kayak trip or deep water and flats fishing, the waters of the Florida Keys are like no other. Just let us know when you want to go.Grab a good book and a drink and I'll see you in the hammock area. ... more   less
