Josh the driver went above and beyond. Great personality and wonderful driving skills. Very handsome and easy to talk to. Hope to see him again if I stay at that resort again. Definitely 10/10 stars. 😁

The hotel was pretty solid. Very clean, the rooms were nice and most of the staff was very accommodating. With the exception of the first drink when you arrived, everything costs ridiculous money which was pretty crazy considering the cost of the room. The breakfast was way overpriced and not very good but the bar makes great drinks. Terry, the breakfast server was a terrible person and treated multiple people in our party like crap. Josh, our driver was super cheerful and always willing to help. With the exception of Terry it was a pretty awesome week.

We had a great stay at Barbary - close to the beach, convenient shuttle, nice staff (especially josh the driver). Rooms were cozy and modern. We’ll be back next time we are in key west, hopefully very soon.

Overall, we had a great time despite the rainy weather. We knew it was storm season and were taking a chance booking at the time we chose to do so. The ladies at the reception desk of the Barbary were amazing-both were extremely friendly and helpful. The bartenders Dave and M.J. were fantastic as well. Josh, who drove us to and from the airport, was extremely prompt, polite, and had a wonderful personality. Shuttle drivers Bingo Bob and John were more than accomadating, going above and beyond each ride, offering passengers suggestions on places to go and drop-offs to other locations aside from the assigned meeting spot. We only had one negative encounter with the breakfast server who has several positive reviews on here. Everything started out great, joking around, etc. , until he was presented with a $100 bill for a $52 breakfast bill. He merely had to say he couldn't make change (which he in fact did make the change at the bar without issue), and there would have been no problem. Instead, he chose to go into the kitchen and yell out "those mother f...ers", and we couldn't hear anymore of the conversation. He was also speaking negatively of the bartender to us prior to that. His behavior was only a minor glitch, as all other staff members compensated for his ignorance. We will definitely book at this resort again when we return to Key West.

My boyfriend surprised me with a 50th birthday getaway. I couldn’t have been happier with the service from our bartenders, whom we got to know well. John, Dave, and MJ took great care of us all week. Terry was our server for breakfast and made sure our mimosas were always full! We had the pleasure of Josh and Bob driving us on the shuttle and they were great sharers of some island knowledge and just good conversationalists. All of these wonderful people were just doing their job, but made my birthday that much more special!!
