I loved the style of this hotel, all urban chic and distressed industrial. The rooms were very comfortable, especially the beds. The restaurant is very nice and staff could not do enough for you. The only drawback is the distance from the city center. It...More
Decor is where history meets the future and I just can’t get enough of it. You’ll find an extremely well thought out industrial sheik design. The pool area is fabulous with fire pits, hammocks, sand sections, and a full bar Salty Oyster with delicious food....More

The islands are so small that planes are fairly evident from everywhere. The flight patterns of panes and jets change constantly based on the wind direction. Many of the larger commercial craft can be readily seen flying just over the downtown area as they come in for a landing. Take offs are typically veering off toward the Atlantic. There also a air force base on Boca Chica, just 2 islands up that can occasionally have quite a bit of activity - the air force jets are cool to see though. Regardless of where you will be in Key West, Stock Island or any neighboring island, you will hear and see some type of aircraft activity. There ARE RESTRICTIONS that limit noise pollution that overall is adhered too by all and several locations, such as the Perry Hotel have made a point of creating structures that have noise dampening qualities. Unless you are super sensitive, you will hardly notice them.
