I will start by saying I would definitely come back if I ever make it back to the keys. I guess that would probably say enough. But for those really digging in as I always do, here are details: First, the good - the water is always interesting here. Even if you don't sail (which I'm very disappointed that I...

The 4 Stillman's had a wonderful stay at Key Lime...It was our second visit. everything met or exceeded our expectations. We sailed to Nest Key, we kayaked in the mangroves, our days were full of sunshine and sailing. As before,we enjoyed the facilities, the other guests, and the staff... The Tiki Hut is the center of the universe! Our family...

Looking for new experience I was invite to a place for a first time. With no knowledge of any sport water. Key lime sailing Club and Cottages is where I landed. First impression the staff members were very professionals and courteous. The property is a very relaxing, adventurous and ready for all kind of water sport. we took a speed...

Before I book any vacation I read Tripadvisor reviews. I always read some positive and all of the negative. I was pleasantly surprised with this property. The Cottage: We stayed in the Owner's Cottage. The price was a little more, but well worth it. The cottage has two bedrooms, a loft. It has a large well supplied kitchen with an...

Was a great stay the second week of April. Weather perfect and the wind just right for sailing the Catalina 22'. Everything right there and restaurants within walking distance. The Kayaks fun to use also. Mangrove trip a must do. Bob

After reading other reviews, we knew we were not going into a Hilton, and that was why we chose the Key Lime Sailing Club! We are not sailors, but we do love the outdoors. Having the canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, bikes, fishing and snorkel equipment at our disposal was the main reason. If it was available, you could...

I jokingly tell people to read all the reviews about this place, they are all true. It isn't for everybody. We just returned from our second stay, and we will probably go back for a third next year. Having access to all the paddle boards, kayaks, sailboats, snorkeling equipment, fishing equipment, basically anything you could think of, is great, it...

Laid back, family oriented former fishing camp. From outside cabins look a bit rustic, however, interior is supercomfortable, plenty hot water, inside/outside shower, waterview, at least from Captain's Cabin. Catalina 22 with furler reefing in very good condition was assigned for exclusive use during our stay. Kayaks, Sailfish and paddleboards available on first come basis. Short walk to various bayside...

just read Zak's review, and had a chuckle. As a sailor he should have known that a Catalina 22 was not an America's Cup contender. My wife and I enjoyed the fact that a sailing boat was included in the package, with fun sailing in the Everglades. Nothing in the advertisement for KLSC said that the accommodation was 5*,but it was perfectly...

We had a wonderful time staying at the Key Lime Sailing Club. We were only able to stay for 2 nights but it was worth the trip down from Pompano Beach. We arrived on Friday and got right into having fun by taking out the Sunfish and paddleboards. There are no signup sheets or waiting lists. If it is sitting...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Key Lime Sailing Club and Cottages is located on the Bay side of Key Largo. What makes us unique is our cottage rentals come with a free designated 22' sailboat that you can use for your whole stay, also included is the free use of kayaks, canoes, paddle boards, dinghies, snorkel gear, fishing gear and bicycles. Sail to the Nest Key island and experience the mud bath on the beach, or sail towing your kayak, then kayak through the mangrove jungle into the hidden lake where you will see manatees. Plus we do Sunset Cruises on a 40' Catamaran for our guests once or twice a week at no extra cost! Rates starts as low as $175 a night on our low season, each of our uniquely decorated and themed cottages comes in different sizes with king or queen size bed as well as bunk beds, and a duplex which can be converted to 1 big cottage that can sleep up to maximum of 13 people. Please Note: We try to limit each cottage to 2 adults per cottage so if you have larger group, please book early so we can make appropriate accommodations, as we like to keep our place quaint and casual for all to enjoy, we have a total of 9 cozy cottages spread out over 1 1/2 acres of land and a back yard equaling 100's of square miles of islands and waterways to explore. ... more   less
