We enjoyed a very nice, relaxing anniversary vacation, staying at the Colonial Court Inn at Indian Rocks Beach. Our apt was "the Indian", It was very homelike and comfortable. It made coming back to the apt feel like coming home. Nothing stuffy or unwelcoming about the place. My favorite thing was the beach. I loved getting up early every morning,...

I stumbled onto this property on the internet while I was looking for a nice quiet low stress long weekend beach getaway. Wow it is paradise. The pride of the owners for this property is immediately evident. The cottages are intimate and charming. Once inside the gate we felt like we were in our own little tropical paradise. The beach...

My wife and I married here back in October 2005 right on the beach. We always enjoy going back and plan to again for our anniversary this October. This is a very special place nestled right on the beach at 'The Narrows' in Indian Rocks. Wev'e rented the main beach home with the four primary apartments, 'Starlight, Heart, Lighthouse, and...

For our first long term vacation stay in Florida we chose the Bay & Beach Guest House accommodation offered by the Colonial Court Inn located in Indian Rocks Beach. The idea of a small cottage on the water, within walking distance to the beach and restaurants (rather than a condo) appealed to us and the B&B cottage was the perfect choice....

What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said... It is the most charming place directly located directly on the gulf. The gardens are a peaceful entrance way leading to the gulf. Laura and Jim treat this place as they would their own home. The "main house" is divided into 4 quaint and yes updated units that...

We rented units 5 and 5A, the Lighthouse and the Starlight, for a week. Laura and Jim have a lovely, home-away-from home place on the beach. The two apartments constitute the entire upstairs, with a long balcony porch for watching those glorious sunsets. Fresh flowers from the lovingly attended garden had been placed in our rooms. The apartments are cute,...

I can only recommend this location for anyone visiting the REAL Florida. Indian Rocks Beach is so great, and having the Colonial Court there, makes every visit there special. 6 stars out...

Colonial Court is the best place to stay in Indian Rocks Beach. We love the old Florida style of IRB and the owners of Colonial Court do all that they can to continue that tradition. The location is so great and convenient to tons of great local restaurants and shopping. We never even rent a car because we don't need...

“If you are wanting to glance out your windows or step directly out your front door to chairs with a gulf view then you won't want the Indian Room or the one next to the Indian Room as they are nestled behind the main building but the view short steps around the sidewalk to the back is seriously not an issue. Also keep in mind the top suites will get you an awesome view but there is no elevator at this site.”
