We went there last week and rented the cottage for the weekend. The cottage is great, but there is only one, and you have to reserve it pretty far in advance. I think I reserved it 5 months in advance, and October is not high season. The staff was excellent, and the springs are gorgeous; HOWEVER, there is no "quiet... More

Canoeing up stream the Santa Fe river, is an unforgettable experience. You can also do a Lazy River down the stream in a float. I recommend camping for a few days to really take all what the park has to offer.

Our family visited Ginnie Springs during Labor Day weekend. We were able to rent tubes on the property with no problems. We didn't know that you could barbecue on the premise. If you plan ahead, you can make it a whole day trip. My kids loved the areas of spring water. They swam around and were able to see the... More

A very nice camp ground. They work hard to keep it as clean as possible.I think on weekends they get over run with campers and day people. Still a lot of fun.Up river at the starting point seems to be more young and loud campers. The lower end seems to be a little bit more quite. Fun to just sit... More

This is a place to camp, dive, snorkle, swim and just enjoy the simple things in life. The water is crystal clear and an unbelieveable blue. You can see the numerous springs that make up this floating paradise. Divers are awarded beautiful views in caves. Many holes are fun to explore with a snorkle and fins. There is a large,... More

The camp sites were spacious. The Only down side is the staff doesn't police the camp sites between visitors. We had a little trash around our fire pit and grill. The "water and electric" camp spots are close to one of the Springs. Do not walk around bare footed. I noticed bottle caps and glass.

The springs would be amazing if there weren't 500+ people there, a good portion of them drunk and blaring music of various kinds from their cars, and walking around half naked. There are so many things in our visit that you just can't unsee. We were there to kayak and hopefully have a quiet day on the water. It just... More

We planned this trip with friends with kids from 6-16. We loved the campground. Very clean. It does get crowded on the weekends but our stay was from Wednesday to this Saturday and it was perfect. We had lots 60 and 61 and they are ok during the weekdays but when it gets crowded is a bad spot because of... More

I had fond memories of this place as a child. Unfortunately i cannot in good faith recommend it after my latest visit. I have never been to a campground where, even though no overly loud noises would be allowed, quiet time started at midnight. It seems this place mostly caters to young, drunk and high college kids now. I stayed... More
