We checked in to the Camelia Rose and were immediately impressed by the beauty of the outside of the building. The extensive porches and seating on the porches are a great place to relax and enjoy a wonderful afternoon drink. Wine and snacks are served in the evening and provide a great time to socialize with other guests or just...

My boyfriend and I chose this as our half-way meeting point in Florida.. Neither one of us had ever stayed at a B & B. The home is absolutely breathtakingly gorgeous!! We stayed in the "anticipation" room... It's AMAZING! The entire place is even more beautiful than in the pics. posted. We enjoyed the entire home... Coffee in the front...

My family and I stayed for my sons graduation from college. The inn is beautiful and very clean and well taken care of. The breakfast was excellent and they prepared it early to accommodate our graduation time. Thank you Pat, we will be back.I would highly recommend the Inn to everyone.

My husband and I spent our 20th anniversary here and enjoyed it very much. We stayed in the Lady Clare room - cozy and clean with a great view. Pat and Tom are great hosts and they know the best places to eat in town. They accommodated my husband's bicycle, and breakfast was very good. Will definitely return.

We stayed a few days in Gainesville as a short summer break. We chose the Camellia Rose because of its location - close enough to walk to downtown, but on a quiet street away from the bustle. We loved its calm, cool, shady-but-bright interiors. I could have lived happily on the deep wrap-around front porch! Our room was luxurious, and...

My wife and I have stayed at the Camellia Rose Inn three times now within the past year. The first time we came, we had chosen the inn at random. The outstanding personal service, clean rooms, and fabulous breakfasts convinced us to return, and we will again in the future. Pat, Tom, and Chris make a great team. You will...

My husband and I stayed here on our way home from our vacation to the Florida panhandle. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by Chris. I felt like I was reuniting with a long lost friend! She was sweet and friendly. We loved everything about this bed and breakfast. Snacks served periodically during the day and evening. The...

Wonderful, friendly staff, great food and SO comfortable and clean. Also, it's just a beautiful few blocks' walk downtown. Gay-friendly, too! My girlfriend and I felt very welcomed and cared for. We had an amazing time.

This place is wonderful and the host was wonderful as well. Very quiet and relaxing. Food was great. I even went away with some ideas to cook at home. Would definitely stay again when in the area. Thanks for your hospitality!

Just spent the most delightful week at the Camellia Rose B & B in Gainesville. Was visiting with family and didn't want to stay in a hotel. The B & B is a beautifully renovated old Victorian in the SE Historic District in Gainesville, a quick walk from all the downtown restaurants. Breakfasts were excellent. The host and hostess, Pat...
