We have stayed here many times and have booked nearly all of their cottages. We are early risers and Cindy is happy to bring breakfast the night before. The bathrooms are showing some age but there is plenty of hot water. The bedrooms are a pretty tight fit. But most of all Joe and Cindy are compassionate about our two...

My mother and I just returned from a 3-night stay at the Magnolia B&B. What a treasure! We stayed in Miss Huey's Cottage; a lovely 2-bedroom historic stand-alone cottage on the property. The cottage is adorable - like a dollhouse! Our favorite room was the sun room; surrounded by windows that illuminate the room with the morning light, while showcasing...

My parents visited Gainesville recently, but we were unable to accommodate them at our home. They requested a stay at Magnolia Plantation. Cindy and Joe were spectacular hosts, chatting with them, offering wine, tending to every need. Their cottage (Nutmeg) was so comfortable and well appointed that my parents wanted to stay, and joked with their friends back home that...

We loved Miss Huey's Cottage. It was absolutely perfect. A peaceful little island in the sea of great beauty and diversity that is Gainesville, FL. Cindy and Joe were the perfect hosts. There is so much to do in the Gainesville area it is truly a hidden gem. And of course, GO GATORS!🐊🐊

I would highly recommend the Magnolia to everyone. The building itself is fantastic, a real historical gem in Gainesville in a tranquil and leafy part of the town, not far from the centre and the UF campus. The owners were super friendly and very welcoming. Overall, very relaxing!

The cabin is amazing, with all the amenities you'd like or just a fireplace and bottle of wine. Joni and I enjoyed relaxing at night and venturing out for hikes and the other features Big Canoe and surrounding communities offered. The cabin had everything we needed. Love the stay....

Great location. We had a wonderful time. It is walking distance to the main restaurants. We also had a great time walking through the parks and the Duck Pond area. We loved the area and highly recommend staying at The Magnolia Plantation with its great flavor of history.

We enjoyed the bed and breakfast very much, especially the breakfast. The rooms were well appointed, very clean. The showers could be problematic for some, but that's part of the experience. The grounds were beautiful.

22 years ago my husband and our entire our wedding party stayed at the Magnolia plantation and Breakfast Inn.Back then the Magnolia Bed and Breakfast consisted of Just the home itself. My wife and I were visiting Gainesville for the first time because we wanted to go to a nearby State Park. When I saw the ads for this wonderful old "painted lady" we thought we would like to get a taste of "old Florida" and that's exactly what we got! Cindy and Joe were two great characters and were so...
