I had the opportunity to stay at the Magnolia Plantation B&B for only one night. Next time I will definitely stay longer. My room, the Magnolia Room, was absolutely awesome! I arrived in the evening and it had just grown cold. When I entered my room I was greeted by a fire in the fireplace and soft music. I had...

My party of 3 overnighted in Cinnamon, and wish we could have stayed another night. If you would enjoy hosts with a sense of humour, lots of space, a front porch swing, and walking distance to shopping/good eats, then consider Magnolia. If price is your major consideration, squeeze into a chain motel room.

I travel a lot because of my work and have the opportunity to see many different locations and hotels. When away from home, you very quickly adapt to the place you live, becoming "Home" away from home. Hotels can be practical and even luxurious, making it easy to accommodate in a strange environment. But what I appreciate the most are...

We have been to bed and breakfasts throughout our life and I have to say that the Magnolia Plantation has far exceeded any. To walk in for the first time and be greeted with a hug by Joe, made me feel right at home. The Cinnamon Cabin where we stayed was very rustic, comfortable, and dreamy. Stuffed french toast that...

The overall ambience of the garden environment is typical of old natural Florida. The rooms and cottages are charming and have all the amenities of the Hyatt and more. We had a fireplace and a jacuzzi tub.

I travel to Gainesville almost every week and have stayed in many places, but this is the best. I stayed in a cottage with a living room and full, well appointed kitchen. Clean, quiet and thoroughly enjoyable. Cindy and Joe could not be more accommodating. I highly recommend Magnolia.

I'm in an MBA program at the University of Florida that requires me to stay in Gainesville for three nights every month. After trying several of the area hotels, a classmate of mine discovered the Magnolia Plantation, just a couple miles from campus and within walking distance of downtown. Now, we stay in Nutmeg and Ginger cottage every month! The...

We shared a 2 bedroom cottage with our son and grandson. The living room with fireplace made for an excellent place to share good times. The value for the dollar paid was excellent. We have stayed at Magnolia numerous times, and all have been a super experience.

My husband, two dogs and Ivhave just checked out of Muss Huey's Cottage. What a delightful way to spend a night in Gainesville! We stayed at chain hotels in the past, but never again! We enjoyed an evening front if the roaring fire with take out and movies borrowed from the main house. Breakfast was decadent and delicious. Cindy was...
