#1 of 3 Speciality lodging in Fort White
We are a 20 acre wooded campground with large tent and RV sites. Each with a picnic table and fire ring. Our quaint building has a game room with air hockey, 3 pool tables, video games, juke box, clean bathrooms & showers and a beautiful stone fire place. Our camp host makes sure there is always a nice fire going for you. Ichetucknee Springs State Park is 1/2 mile from us. We rent tubes, rafts, kayaks and canoes, for you to go down the beautiful spring fed river. The river, blue hole and headspring is 72 deg year round. We provide shuttle service for the kayaks and Canoes. We tie the tubes on your car and we pick them up from the river for you. CHECK OUR WEB SITE FOR PRICING FACEBOOK ICHETUCKNEE CAMPING

Awful customer service. Manager pulled up on his golf cart to SCREAM at us because we asked about our electricity twice. He thought himself better than us and believed that we should be grateful to be there and grateful with what he gave us. He definitely did not want us there. Needless to say, we packed up our gear, got our money back and left. DO NOT COME HERE.

This is a lovely campground. The staff was very kind and courteous and it was very beautiful! FYI- Be sure to check the details, because there is only two (male and female) available bathroom for use indoors. There is one port-o-let up by the office. Otherwise you’re on your own. Most Of the tent sites are a good hike to the bathroom. Also, check to see location to other campsites when you get there, as some sites are very close to other camp sites. Fun place, Just check details.

This was my wife and my first camping trip in a rented camper. We brought our three canine companions and our daughter met us there. We had an absolutely wondertime. This is an old campground. There are several sites some with electric 30AMP service and water. There are also several sites with hook-ups. This is promoted as a family/pet friendly campground and we could not agree more. Several families and groups were camping. The entire property is covered with a canopy of trees and shade. The sites are sandy so everything rinses off quickly. Our dogs enjoyed not being tethered. We enjoyed a campfire in the rim-pit provided. Come prepared but you can get basic supplies at the office. Firewood, Ice and basic camping necessities. There are several state parks close by with hiking and natural wonders. We particularly enjoyed the Ichnetucknee Springs 'blue whole' which delivers approximately 900 million gallons of water to the head of the Ichnetucknee River. (North Entrance) and we also used the State Park South Entrance to enjoy the tubing down the river. The park hosts Karl and Christy were attentive and very helpful. We will return often.

The property is quaint and feels like old Florida. Order firewood or bagged ice and they deliver it to your campsite via golf cart. At night, Karl makes the rounds and invites you to bring your car up to the "lodge" and he will load rented tubes on your car, tie them down, so you are ready to hit the river before anyone else. (Gates open at 7:30 and they cut off visitors by 9:30 am, so this is a real perk.) Didn't/Couldn't use the porta-potties...outside my comfort zone, but did use the bathrooms at the main lodge. They were clean. Hot showers outback were nice after a hot day of tubing. Game room is great for the kids...old school games...pinball, Gallaga, Pac Man, air hockey, pool table. Total throwback to our childhood from the late 70s/early 80s... Karl is getting the campground up to snuff. He has big plans. I would recommend upgrading bathroom offerings with a real bathhouse(s). Our three families had an absolute blast and would highly recommend to others. We are world travelers, but this two-hour jaunt was just as fun.

Let me start by sincerely saying that the owner Karl and the personnel were nice and friendly. The area in general is clean, the camp sites, the tube rental area, the front desk needs TLC. What dropped the rating is the condition and lack of amenities. In their 20 acre campground , they have ONE restroom each for men and women located at the front desk. Port-a-potty could be found around, we were told.. In the area that we were, there was 1 . The campground was full so its condition quickly deteriorated. You can just imagine how nasty it has been on the 3rd day - it was already noon but it has not yet been taken care of. They have 2 shower stalls located outside their front desk - 2 poorly installed shower stalls that are in desperate need of cleaning and renovation. My family waited 1 hour lined up to take shower on the 2 evenings that we were there. It is the yer 2020 but the place is still operating on cash basis only. Here's the clincher - Though we hear their people riding their cart patrolling the area, they are not implementing their own policy of no more noise by 11 PM. Loudmouthed people from different sites were disturbing the other campers up to 2 AM! They seriously could have done better...
