Currently staying at the B Ocean resort. 3rd night of 4. This is not a 4 star hotel. The first room we had was decent size but smelled moldy and the windows were filthy. We ended up getting a room with a balcony. Smaller room but worth it to be able to get some air. There is a closet with about 6 hangers. Other than that, no dresser to put your clothes. The room is also dirty. We have had no hot water. Luke warm at best. I didn’t bother calling about it. It is what it is. In the 3 days we have been here, I have yet to see anyone cleaning either of the 2 pools. The stretch of beach in front of this hotel is also littered with cigarette butts. People smoke and just leave their butts in the sand. The water is nice and the beach service is good. The hotel is conveniently located. Step outside, turn right and walk... nice boardwalk by the ocean. Plenty of shops and eateries down the street. The hotel does have a decent fitness center on the 2nd floor. Equipment looked modern. The best part of my stay so far was my massage. 2 people, 50 minutes was $280. Expensive but amazing. Highly recommend. Basically, if you don’t have high expectations this place will be fine. Me? I won’t be returning. …
I used to love this place. However, if you check their site, for day packages you'll find 3 options and all the pricing is incorrect and charges are 2x higher than the advertised rate, ON THEIR OWN SITE. Upon calling their reservation line, , the call center representative advised the $99 dollar rate is correct, however it's ONLY an internet rate and must be placed online and that she could only provide the cost of $165, even though it was CLEAR that their site was not allowing the advertised rate to be booked. I pressed and asked for a manager and was HUNG UP ON!. I called the front desk and asked for a Manager whom never returned my call. I sent an email and their response "day packages" are no longer available. However, you can go on their site and book a day package as we speak!! Poor Customer service to a loyal customer is unacceptable. So this Dolphin season Tix holder who comes to Fla from MD for every game and stays at least 3 days will never patronize your hotel again!!…
One night stay. Local getaway. The view was great. The front desk was great. The massage therapist was nice and catered to every massage need. Overall it was a good experience. My issue came to the room. I work in hospitality in Miami Beach. So when I walk into a room, I expect the same, or greater, standards as to the hotel where I work. The room presented itself nice. But when I walked into the living space, the dining table had cup marks (rings from the cup bottom) and smudges from the previous party (or parties). Same in the kitchenette. Makes me wonder if that wasn’t properly cleaned then what else in the room wasn’t? The way the world is today, hotels need to sanitize and clean properly before the next party arrives. Otherwise, I had no other issues. The stay was pleasant.
I'm from Miami, live in another state. Came home for a visit and knowing what the older hotels are like decide to splurge. Ocean view for a week and a little over 2000$ out of my pocket was totally underwhelmed. Want to use the private beach, PAY UP at $40 a day, park your car add another $40. Don't forget the parking fee's they are 40 0r 45$ a day, forget that question changed the decision to rent a car. Car and hotel will cost what for the trip, I can get taxi's and Uber and save a fortune which we did. Overall it's a nice place, but it's tired. The staff was pleasant but the upkeep shows basic's done but nothing more.
Veral our beach attendant was so very accommodating and attentive. Give that guy some kudos. He moved our Cabana and offered towels. Also came back to check on us. The resort was fabulous. The drinks were better. Weather was amazing as well. Try this resort you won’t be disappointed
