The property continues to get better and better. From check- in to housekeeping, to a very special staff, this is what a vacation resort is supposed to be. No detail is beyond these guys. Philip, the new manager, is an extraordinary young professional. His eye for detail is obvious. It shows in the property, and more importantly, the attitude of... More

I have stayed at the Royal Palms 3 times now and it gets better each time I stay. I would not want to stay anywhere else. The management, staff and guests are all a pleasure to be around. The minute you walk into the you are taken care of with impeccable service. They know you by name if you have... More

So, although I am gay, I decided to head to Florida with a friend who was straight and female. When making our reservation we were never advised that this is a gay-only property. When we went to check in we we denied our room (even though it had been paid in advance). It seems, this gay property, while the want... More

Great location, literally 3 min walk to beach. Very clean room. Stylish and comfortable. Having a bar and a food on property was WAY more satisfying and handy then I would have ever expected.....and the food was good and convenient. Two nice pool areas. The spa offered nice services but I did not have the opportunity to experience. Just an... More

This property is extremely clean. It is a "true" 3 minute walk to the beach (so often the description of beach proximity is fluffed). The staff s nice. It is a gay resort but does not have a bath house sexual temperature. We had adjoining rooms and that was perfect because of our snoring. We both slept well. Highly recommend.

I have stayed in several gay guest houses and resorts in the Ft.Lauderdale area over the past few years. Royal Palms was by far the best experience I have had. I can't think of anything to complain about. The grounds were very nice, the staff was excellent, the food was good, the bar and bar staff were very nice and... More

I've traveled to Fort Lauderdale for several years and have had some decent accommodations with reasonably friendly staff. Over the past two years my friends and I have stayed at the Royal Palms a few times and we wouldn't stay anywhere else now. The rooms are fantastic and modern, the restaurant has great food and the bar is fun with... More

I've gone to the spa here a few times over the past several months for massage. Request Michael as your therapist, he's great! I've never had such a great massage, and left feeling so good. I'll continue going here to have him as my massage therapist.

I recently stayed at the Royal Palms Resort for the first time and I must say this is a top-notch hotel. The design and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations. The bar had great food and drinks and we really loved the fact that there are two pool areas- one for relaxing and lounging and one that's a bit... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Royal Palms at the end of March. The staff was excellent and provided first-rate customer service. We had a room just outside of the main pool and bar area. Thought it might be a bit noisy based on some other reviews, but didn't find that to be the case at all, and we stayed... More
