Stayed here with my wife before a cruise. Booked totally on trip advisor reviews. The reviewers must have had different standards for lodging. The hotel was very clean and friendly it is very small and quaint. It is very old and due to its age very run down. The rooms a decorated well but feel really old and cold. Very...

My husband and I booked three nights off a cruise at this little tropical paradise! We stayed in a king suite, room 207. The staff was wonderful and the room and grounds clean and inviting! We dined at a wonderful Italian restaurant very close to the hotel ( a five minute walk) and had a great meal at a local...

We had a queen suite for four adults the day before a cruise out of Port Everglades. It was about $25 for the cab from the Fort Lauderdale airport and about the same from the hotel to the port. The suite room 106 was roomy and very clean. We took a suggestion from the friendly staff for dinner and walked...

This is not a huge chain hotel with a restaurant, giftshop, valet parking - a cocoon that tries to contain you. This is a place for the traveler that likes to experience their destination and have a clean, comfortable, serene refuge at the end of each day. The rooms are large, airy and attractive. Free parking, free wi-fi, local restaurants...

We have always booked right on Ft Lauderdale beach in the past. The prices have become ridiculous. We turned to Trip Advisor and found this hidden treasures about 15 minute walk from the beach. Clean spacious and quiet rooms with courteous helpful staff. Nice pool and hot tub area surrounded by lush trees and plants. Will definitely book again. Very...

This was a real hidden gem that we can thank our travel service for finding for us, although the hotel manager said they used Expedia to actually book it for us. Regardless, it was a beautiful, quaint, charming, clean, comfortable place to stay off the beaten path. Our cab driver had never heard of it. My buddy who lives there...

Stayed overnight before our cruise. Everyone was so nice especially Billy. He was great and informative. Lot of places to eat within walking distance. Great neighborhood bar around the corner. Room was clean and spacious. Definitely would go back!

This is now our preferred place to stop in Ft Lauderdale. We opted at many places here, but now prefer this hotel. Great value for money, the rooms are excellent, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel above the overpriced "luxury" end of the market

My husband and I usually stay in pricier hotels with names that are well known. What can I say, I looked at Trip Advisor saw this little 50's gem and we decided to stop and check it out. Wow, what a pleasant surprise! Spacious, comfy bed rooms, a galley kitchen, gorgeous bathroom with a shower only. Terrazzo floors, bright colors,...

Booked this based on reviews on New Year's Eve when other fancier places were sold out. Clearly a step or two up from the average motel. Night clerk Billy was incredibly considerate and thoughtful, A plus. Room 115 has its own private courtyard and kitchen. Modern shower facilities and clean room. On street parking was easy even on a busy...
