This lovely hotel is tucked away in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Once you enter, you are in a quiet zone of tropical flora with a heated swimming pool and whirlpool steps from your door. Rooms are crisply clean, comfortable and outfitted with every luxury and convenience. Egyptian cotton made me feel pampered. I loved the convenience of a walk-in shower...

Great beds, central air, quiet and boutique-like. No telephones in rooms and no daily newspapers, either in the room or at the front desk. A rather surly woman at the front desk stated adamantly that absolutely no checkouts after 1100. We would have given this hotel a higher rating if it weren't for the negatives.

Set in the upscale, slightly bohemian neighborhood of Victoria Park, the Victoria Park hotel has a low-key old Florida vibe that is pleasant and adult-oriented. We enjoyed our two-night stay and found it a good bargain - and a nice break from chain hotels and high-priced resorts. It was quiet, friendly and has an interesting history. The room was spacious,...

We were here two years ago and specifically asked the travel agent to book us in because we liked it so much last time. No disappointment this time either! This place has a history and is beautifully laid out. Spacious rooms that remind me of "Miami Vice". Big beds, pleasant views all towards the inner court yard with palms, a...

This hotel made me think of what motels of the 50's looked like, but with all the current amenities. The hotel is quite quaint and a bit quirky, All good. It;s located in a relatively quiet neighborhood within an easy walk of a lot of activities (restaurants, shopping...). I stayed in a very nice 2nd floor room. The only criticism...

Our host Billy is a kind soul. He gave us the rundown of The Victoria Park Hotel and an early entrance to our room - a blessed event for two weary travelers who made a much too early flight into Ft. Lauderdale. Curiously, he also gave us a box of Animal Crackers - a fond memory from my childhood. But...

Stayed here with my wife before a cruise. Booked totally on trip advisor reviews. The reviewers must have had different standards for lodging. The hotel was very clean and friendly it is very small and quaint. It is very old and due to its age very run down. The rooms a decorated well but feel really old and cold. Very...

My husband and I booked three nights off a cruise at this little tropical paradise! We stayed in a king suite, room 207. The staff was wonderful and the room and grounds clean and inviting! We dined at a wonderful Italian restaurant very close to the hotel ( a five minute walk) and had a great meal at a local...

We had a queen suite for four adults the day before a cruise out of Port Everglades. It was about $25 for the cab from the Fort Lauderdale airport and about the same from the hotel to the port. The suite room 106 was roomy and very clean. We took a suggestion from the friendly staff for dinner and walked...

This is not a huge chain hotel with a restaurant, giftshop, valet parking - a cocoon that tries to contain you. This is a place for the traveler that likes to experience their destination and have a clean, comfortable, serene refuge at the end of each day. The rooms are large, airy and attractive. Free parking, free wi-fi, local restaurants...
