I would like to report the night auditor on duty on 2/25/21 at 5:16 am I called the property asking for an upgrade for my status as a bonvoy member, The auditor was a guy he refused to give me his name, or even help me as a guest service representative he is. Instead he told me to call back and speak to a manager but he refused to give me a manager's name. According to him, he could not give me a manager's name because he doesn't work with the daytime staff so he has no idea who the managers are. He went on to explain how the property is to loss a manger and will be getting a brand new manager so he could not redirect me who to speak to. I feel like he was unhelpful, unwelcoming and unfriendly. This is an attempt to throw me off so I am blocked from reporting his bad behavior. I am so upset I had such an awful experience like this before I even check in, Not a good first impression. NEVER once was I rude to him, I never called him out of his name, I BEGGED him TWICE to help me. What kind of show are you running here? I am on a 4 night stay for business. To start - the property (not sure how old it is) - is kept up incredibly well. From public areas downstairs - to the carpet on my floor and my room - it is spotless and looks pretty much brand new. As a point of reference - I am Marriott Bonvoy Titanium Elite. I was offered a standard King room on the 8th floor - not sure if upgrades are offered to rooms above this level. Parking is $20 per night - and the garage is incredible secure - and easily accessed through your room key. The staff is incredible - all requests are happily filled. Also - a colleague of mine and I had some work to do - part of the sitting area of the hotel was empty and they happily allowed us to spend a few hours there to do our work. The Team Member even allowed my colleague to park for free! Lastly if you are not familiar with the area - the location of the property could not be better. It is in downtown Fort Lauderdale - within a few steps of Las Olas - and all of the restaurants and shops available there. To the hotel team - many many thanks - and look forward to returning!…
We came for the weekend to visit my family in Ft. Lauderdale in and we decided to book two rooms in order to celebrate their wedding anniversary. It has been a wonderful stay and I would like to give special thanks to Mrs. De’lionni for making sure that our stay at this property would be a wonderful experience. Her passion for Hospitality and the exceptional dedication for customer service we will definitely make me and my family to come and stay again. I stay at Marriott all the time and this is a A+ property for the location, cleanliness and wonderful passion for customer service. Thank you!!!
I literally went to 6 different hotels in the area and they were dirty/ pictures didn’t match reality. This hotel is super clean new and has wonderful staff! De’Lionni was such an incredible help I would literally come back just for her and her customer service! Also tons of parking and I feel very safe!
I stayed at this hotel several times in the past and had a decent stay but my last experience 07/2020 was AWFUL!!! I book a stay and was awakened in the middle of the night with a couple fighting in the next room. Thank God for that because I discovered bedbug crawling on the pillows of the bed. After turning on the lights I notice they were also crawling on the wall of the room as well as the floor. I contacted the front desk to receive NO answer. I immediately packed my things and headed to the front desk to speak to them about my discoveries. I was placed into another room and was advised that the mgr will handle room 414. I spoke with the mgr Anuj the morning but instead of being apologetic I received an attitude because it was his day off and he had to come in regarding the incident. Upon check out I was billed at a higher rate for my last night and was only comp. only the one night due to the bedbug situation and was denied a copy of the incident report for Room 414 in which the bedbug incident occurred. I WOULD BEWARE OF BOOKING THIS HOTEL!!!!!!…
