The hotel was very clean, employees were very polite, the only thing that I had a problem with was the hotel did not have any breakfast buffe. Overall my wife and I had a good experience we'll definitely go back again
I checked in on a Saturday and requested an early check in. The front desk agent Peter, was very rude. He didn’t try to assist us until we were about to cancel our reservation and go somewhere else. He then reminded me 3 times that even though wifi, and television services weren’t working that there wouldn’t be any discounts for the inconvenience at all. He wasn’t even at all apologetic about the service he provided, and never apologized. He needs more hospitality training if he is to remain in this industry that I love.
This hotel was amazing I highly recommend you to check it out! It had many sorts of fish and a Shark! The room was also very neat and it was also very clean in the room! The room was very big. This is a great family hotel and I highly recommend for you and your family to stay here!
We decided to drive to Ft Lauderdale from our central Florida home to celebrate both my wife's birthday as well as New Year's Eve at the nearby Hardrock Hotel and Casino! I searched my Wyndham rewards for a property that appeared to be more upscale & not too overly expensive. I blindly picked TRYPT & wasn't disappointed. It was a contemporary European style appointed hotel. The lobby had a wall of International clocks, a huge extensive lobby aquarium, an unexpected theatre room with multi screens, nice pool with a koi, turtle & alligator pond. We loved the modern look of the rooms & they had an extensive selection of TV channels. All of the rooms had a beautiful balcony view & the amenities were above average. We will definitely return!
This hotel is close to I-95, the Hard Rock Casino, downtown Ft. Lauderdale, and FLL airport. It is newly remodeled and the rooms are modern, light, bright, clean, and minimalist. I love that the rooms have a mini fridge and microwave. One drawback is that it’s noisy because it’s VERY close to the highway. When the a/c is running and the TV is on, it’s not as noticeable. The biggest drawback is that there is no room service or even cafe or breakfast on premises. They tout a restaurant that’s not even onsite. It is not a long walk but it is a walk and I didn’t like the walk alone in the dark, and it certainly wouldn’t be fun in inclement weather. Although the hotel has a lovely lobby with fish tanks and check in was quick, I was given no information regarding amenities or the distance or location of the restaurant. I was extremely disappointed to find that there is no room service, cafe, or restaurant onsite. There’s not even a brochure explaining amenities. If you don’t plan to have a car, or if you don’t want to spend money on ubers or taxis, stay elsewhere. There’s nothing here. …
