We stayed in February for 5 nights at the Westin. We were given a room on the 14th floor facing the intercoastal waters. The giant heater/cooler for the building was located right below our balcony. We couldn't keep the balcony door open for too long because it would get too loud. Other than that, i don't have a lot of negative things to say about the hotel. It's a great location. The restaurants in the hotel were good. There were several other restaurants within walking distance. The beach is right across the street. Westin provided chairs and towels. The pool was relatively small for a Westin resort, but enjoyable. There's a Starbucks on the first floor, with chairs overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend this for a morning Joe. There's a car rental place onsite. Rooms were decent size. Room service was prompt. Hallways were clean and pleasing. Uber from MIA cost us $125 and FLL was around $30. It's not the best Westin resort I've stayed at, but I would recommend it mainly for the location.…
We have stayed at Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort twice this year. We enjoyed it so much that I decided to bring my whole extended family over again in January next year. The location of the hotel was the first thing that has drawn me there. It is right across the street from the beach. The hotel has its own beach access overpass, too. The Starbucks on the first floor of the south tower has the best ocean front seating area. It is a covered terrace facing the ocean. Such a good place to relax. The onsite restaurant has a huge outdoor dining area which is elevated from the street level, offering a great ocean view. A great place to have breakfast/lunch/dinner. The hotel is within a very short walk to all the hopping bars, restaurants, and a CVS on the south end of the beach. I have compared all the options on in the area. Westin definitely has the best value for the buck. What makes this Westin stand out is the staff here. Everyone we met, from the valet, front desk, to restaurant staff, were all genuinely friendly and helpful. On my first trip there in July, the director of front operation Robert M. happened to be at the front desk to check me in. I was so impressed by his professional and yet personal approach. As a frequent traveler with titanium status, I have seen my share of the Bonvoy hotels and staff. This Westin is definitely among the best. To be honest, the facility is a little dated. But the rooms are nice and comfortable. The level of service has more than compensated for what's lagging on the hardware. I have also found another convenient feature: there is an Avis car rental counter a block away at W hotel. I found it very useful if you only need a car for a day. I love this hotel and its staff. I will keep going back there.…
We stayed for our Anniversary and it’s amazing!! Breathtaking views the rooms are clean, very accomodating and very welcoming. Clemente in the front desk was superb, he was very helpful, friendly and accomodating. If there are more than 5 🌟 rating for him I will give it to him for he really deserves it. Love the place, I highly recommend and will be back.
We stayed here last week, and the truly the trip was memorable thanks to Tashelle at the front desk. She bent over backwards to help us get the best room for our needs, was always available to answer any of our questions, and was warm and friendly. She is the best!
Had a wonderful long weekend getaway. Stayed on points so booked intercostal water view room but they upgraded us to ocean view. The closer you get to the ocean , you will hear the major street traffic. North tower is a little further back with the pool deck helping buffer noise. South tower is right next to the road but probably have a better ocean front views. Bring a sound machine if this might be an issue for you. Mattress is heavenly as expected. Breakfast was great and affordable. The restaurant is the same for all meals but has a different name for breakfast and lunch/dinner. With titanium level, you get up to 2 croissants with fruit and drinks. Adding eggs/protein was $8.00. It can get busy for meals so try to plan ahead using open table for reservations. Never had an issue with getting chairs and umbrella but we were there early. By 11, the umbrellas were all taken but had plenty of chairs. There is a charge for the umbrella but worth it if you like shade. Resort fee covers very comfortable chairs only. Rooms were nice and clean but sink counter space was limited. No issue at all with the shutters that many mention. Shower has molten brown refillable shower attached toiletries and then the typical Westin lotion. Enjoy the in room Starbucks coffee. No problem with housekeeping. They were pretty full for the holiday weekend plus valentines and still do not offer room service. I have been to other Westin’s lately that have room service so found that odd. Look forward to returning soon and would stay here again without hesitation.…
