Based on a recommendation we received we stayed at the Captains Table, it was an older room but clean. We'd recommend it if you aren't expecting a room at the Ritz or if you are not a little flexible with an older building. We enjoyed it for a couple of nights.

Nice location. Liked the screened porch and balcony. Pool is beautiful. Facilities are about 20 years overdue for refurbishment. Wifi is terrible. No phone in room. Deadbolt on door non-functioning. Really expensive for what it is.

As usual reviews can be misleading. Budget to me isn't the exorbitant amount we were charged, although it was the annual Seafood Festival. We were told no wifi in the rooms but, in fact ,we had no trouble connecting. The fact that, had we been staying more than one night, they would have charged for housekeeping is appalling, and I have...

We came to Everglades City to do a mangrove/alligator sightseeing. The Captain's Table Lodge offered us a low-cost accomodation. We were satisfied with the value. Although, the wifi could have been better. It does not reach the rooms. You must use it while in lobby or right next to it outside. Our room had a horribly noisy AC unit. Since...

We made reservations here months in advance. The day we were scheduled to fly out of Philadelphia there was a snow storm that closed down the airport and we were unable to get out for 3 more days. This motel charged our credit card and would not refund despite the fact that we called them immediately when we knew we...

We were in the Everglades when a huge storm blew in. We were happy that we had reservations in the nearby Captain's Table to escape from the storm. It is a very basic motel. The rooms are pretty shabby and the hallway looks like a dorm hallway from the 1960's. But it is a great location for doing the Everglades...

I tried to find something good to say about this Motel and remembered that they didn't charge us for parking. But in a few words; no WiFi, no hairdryer, no coffee maker. Plus the rooms are from the fifties and so are towels, pillows and the AC. I wouldn't mind if it was cheap but north of 170$ is by...

Four of us, two from Michigan and two from Oregon, were spending two weeks over the Christmas holiday in South Florida. We chose to spend two days in the Everglades and selected The Captain's Table Lodge & Villas for our lodging. We were not disappointed. The folks at the reception desk were hospitable and helpful. Our two-bedroom suite, which included...

This is s simple motel. We found the room spacious and very clean. The kitchenette is beautiful. The front office person was very helpful and the wifi reached into our room better than they expected. Nice location to get out in the Everglades.

A friend and I stayed here. It would have been okay, but when we went to check out the manager was very patronising, as we had gotten hair dye from dyeing our hair a week before on some towels. They replaced the towels on the second night, charged us, then charged our card again when we left. The manager made...
