It's a small, independent motel that seems to be locally owned. It has about 12 rooms and a parking lot, which are connected to boat rentals and a restaurant - and you may want to check out their schedules if you are interested in either of those. It has a great retro, vintage sign. It's designed for fishers and seems more focused on functionality than luxury. All the staff that I interacted with were very genuine and friendly.

Very clean rooms! Accommodating staff allowed us to check in early. We came solely to kayak the beautiful Rainbow River. We did some hiking to Dames and Peace caves as well. The restaurant food was delicious and scenic by the river. Parking is limited, so if you have a room, remember to place your parking cone in your space or you may come back to someone parked there. Great lil get away place and highly recommend.

When I went to check this place out on TripAdvisor, a negative review topped the page, however when I looked closer it was from 2012. After staying here, I have learned that the motel has since changed ownership and been completely renovated. We stayed there on Thursday night and enjoyed a clean quiet room with cold ac and a large flat screen tv. Bathroom, and all interior appears to be new. The room was squeaky clean and very comfortable. We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant on property. We were in town to visit with friends who own property on the river and this place was recommended. It did not disappoint. We will be back.
