Where do I start, I'll avoid OYO Hotels for life, this is my first and last... Had to call to get someone to the front desk, told I had to give a $50 cash deposit (not stayed when booked thru online service), then could not come back for deposit til 9:20 am, as that is when they open in the am. I usually like to get on the road by 8:00 am, so today I'm an hour and a half late getting started. No ice machine around, no soft drink machine, nor snack machine, so make sure, if you must stay here to bring whatever you need with you. Saving grace for the motel is that the rooms are not bad, well, that is if you don't mind listening to the neighbors as walls must have no sound deadening. Pool is empty, restaurant closed, lawns have not been cut in at least a couple weeks and trash all over. It was late, paid non-refundable charge online, so stayed anyway... Avoid if possible, but at least you'll get a soft bed, wifi, mini-fridge, microwave and a hot shower...

The refrigerator in my room was full of bugs, but the manager and owner refused to give me a refund and we'd been there less than 1 hr. These people have NO hospitality skills. I left and went to the Rodeway Inn down the road and was very satisfied.

I called the hotel two different times to ask if the pool was open 4 and 10 days before my arrival and I was told yes it was. I even sent an email and had live chat with the hotel to verify that the pool was open because of covid,  and as you can see by the attached documents oyo ensured me,  for the FOURTH time, the pool was open. As you can see, by the attached documents,  the photos show an empty disgusting pool. They have refused to give me a refund and closed my ticket. I have filed a claim with the Better Business Bureau.

All other hotels were full. Fairbridge Inn looked nice. Upscale lobby. At that time no TV and phone were not working. Breakfast consisted of dry cereal. I was only guest. Do not know if they go out business

Was totally looking forward to our family stay. Unfortunately upon arrival.. Noticed Swimming Pool was completely empty. Totally bummed as we were trying to avoid drive to the beach. Their pictures of Pool were sooo scrumptious online so pool being dry was a complete dissatisfaction disappointment :(

I booked this room for my mother, my father(a disabled veteran), and my grandmother(an 80 year old disabled woman). There room was supposed to be on the first floor, but when they got there, they were told that the whole first floor was being renovated. Then the front desk clerk proceeded to ask them the day they booked because the hotel had no internet so he can’t look them up. After he hands them the key he says “you have a nice car. Make sure to park it up here in the front at night because the cameras by your room don’t work. We have working cameras here so we can watch it and make sure no one BREAKS INTO YOUR CAR!” They had to change clothes so they went to the room briefly and found out the lights didn’t work, the phone didn’t work, there was no TV, they couldn’t see their car from the room, and these little old people were freaking out by the time they called me. I called told them that we wanted a refund and they would be bringing him the key. He then told me that they did have cameras by their room, but lied to me by telling me that the non-functioning cameras were working. I called the booking cite and had them get the refund on our behalf since the owner was trying to say he didn’t want to do it. He told my family before they left that he would charge them for an hour (the booking cute made him issue a full refund). I booked them an better place and they got out of there very fast. This is a terrible place and what happened to my family sounds like the being of a horror movie plot. If you value your safety or the safety of those you love, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL AT ALL COST!

Please, make yourself a favor and stay as far away as you can from this hotel. This place is a garbage. Horrible smell, roaches, AC barely functional, house keeping didn’t clean the rooms what so ever, they just left “clean” towels (debatable) and left, the toilet barely flushes. Bottom line, garbage! The full first floor of the hotel is destroyed, the pool is empty and it just looks NASTY! The manager obviously hates his job cause his attitude is horrendous. Breakfast?! Im not even going to go there. Ohhh, and there is supposed to be a restaurant open inside of the lobby,,,,,,CLOSED! If you want to feel like in a horror movie, be my guest and stay here. It was a huge mistake staying here. You have been warned!

I was called a few days ahead of my trip indicating the hotel could only take cash. As I arrived, I was asked to view and "accept" the room before checking in. I quickly looked to see if the bare essentials were there: reasonably clean bed, coffee maker, usable bathroom. I checked in and learned there was no hot-tub and the pool was closed. After getting into the room, I realized the floor had not been vacuumed in some time; quite a bit of food on the floor. I also saw evidence of cigarette burns on the carpet & bedding. I was there by myself (thankfully) to race the next morning and had to assemble my bike, so I accepted the situation. I noticed that there was a restaurant attached to the property, but the closed sign "to protect public health" filled me with dread. The next morning, I was prepping for the race (at 4am) and found that while there was a coffee maker in the room, it was missing a critical piece; so I had to improvise to make it work. After getting back from the race in the afternoon, I was looking forward to a brief nap in a cleaner room, but evidently housekeeping services were not included. Never experienced that before. My standards & needs were very low for this trip, but this set a new low. The property has not been maintained for perhaps decades and is currently being renovated. While that is normally a positive thing, the only evidence of the renovation was the massive piles of junked furnishings all around the property. One could easily -- and accurately -- call this place a dump. Since leaving, I have been sent two separate surveys from Choice Hotels & Quality Inn. However, technical issues have prevented me from actually completing the surveys. Last point, if this place had rock-bottom rates, one might understand, but I paid $85 per night. Absolutely nuts.
