There are good points and bad points about this hotel. If its the right choice for you will depend on what you prioritize. "Historic" has this meaning at the Clewiston inn: Lovely original wood interior that instantly reminds you of the Overlook hotel from The Shining, I don't mean this in a bad way, it was very nice. Interesting historic... More

I stayed here over Labor Day weekend. The Inn was very quiet and felt rustic. Old fashioned t.v's and historic pictures in the lobby/dining area. I ended up forgetting a credit card in the room and they called immediately to let us know. Also, left a jacket in this hotel and called 3 weeks later to find they had kept... More

Old and well used, but has many historic values. If you want to "ruff" it in an old landmark stay here. Unfortunately the restaurant closed last year. It had great food. Try the Bar B Q place or Mexican in Clewiston.

We've been going to the Clewiston Inn for about 30 years. When we want to get out of the hustle and bustle of Palm Beach County we go to the Inn. It's close enough where you can scoot over for a quick little trip and get energized. The rooms are comfortable and the continental breakfast is nice the next morning.... More

The hotel sits on a corner and looks grand on the outside. Photos inside show the hotel built in the 1930s had its heyday in the 50s with parties and a flourishing kitchen. It still has the old furniture in the lobby and a wild life mural in the lounge. The place was empty but the room was clean and... More

I was going to give one start. But feel bad about it given the lady at the inn gave the choice between the two rooms. It was very nice of her. I chose the less dirty one. Don't get me wrong. We traveled all over the country. Whenever there is a choice, I chose to live in a historical place... More

The hotel saw definitely better times as many of the visitors also mentioned, but.... I personally liked the ambience, the south of USA all the pictures out of the 50ties and 60ties, th authentic accessories all over the place together with the real estate / house is simply great. In your room you will find a lot of useless things... More
