I arrived after normal check-in and realized I had made a reservation for the wrong night! I called the phone number in the lobby, and the hosts said they couldn't make it back to the property right at that moment, but they walked me through the process to pick an available room and said that we would settle up in... Cedar Key is "old Florida". No fast food joints, just mom and pop businesses. The Cedar Key B&B fits right in-old fashioned hospitality in a homey setting. The rooms are decorated nicely, but feel comfortable. The breakfasts are creative, delicious and large. You won't need lunch. This was our second visit and we will keep coming back.

We hadn't visited Cedar Key and the Cedar Key B&B for many years but were delighted that little had changed--in the town and the B&B. Miss Alice is a most delightful and hospitable host and the inn is perfectly located within easy walking distance from downtown yet far enough away to avoid the noise and crowds during festivals. And the... More

My wife and I enjoyed a special weekend away for our 35th anniversary at the Cedar Key B&B. The accommodations are very nice, comfortably equipped and clean. The B&B consists of a well-maintained old house (actually several buildings) in the midst of sprawling live oak trees. Although no one was on duty when we checked in, our paperwork and room... More

We happened upon Cedar Key Bed & Breakfast when a few other stops yielded no one attending to the check-in area. I was afraid we'd need a reservation, but nope. We were made to feel welcome right from the get-go. We were shown 3 different room, of various sizes. We chose the largest, the Honeymoon Cottage, which we stayed at... More

This was my first time to Cedar Key, and to Cedar Key B&B, and I can't wait to go back. We stayed in "The Girls" room for 3 nights. It was clean, comfortable and charming. The Girls Room has a wonderful balcony spread out beneath a several hundred year old oak tree. Alice and her staff were attentive, and very... More

This B&B is like Cedar Key itself... an authentically charming experience! We stayed in the 'Tree House' tucked away in the canopy of live oaks surrounding the main house (built in 1880!). The balcony overlooks the quiet yard and gardens. In the yard, a comfortable swing hangs from the sprawling live oak that is a good 300 yrs older than... More

What a wonderful trip we had. Loved the feel of the place. All the ladies were more than helpful. When we reached the b&b they no longer had any golf carts available, so they helped us get another, with no trouble at all. We felt like we were right at home. The surrounding town and water are so relaxing. We... More

We found this place online and last minute for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year. We chose the Treehouse room (out of the remaining room availability) which we understand was previous accommodations for the owner/manager. The Treehouse is in a separate but adjacent building (2nd floor) to main house and tucked in under a massive and very... More

nice and quiet. friendly people with knowledge of good restaurants and tour companies. Will return again, whether for 1 night or longer. Golf cart rental, with access throughout Cedar Key, except for main road (Rt 24). Lovely view of the water from the B&B, at sunset. Easy walk to Dock St,where the nightlife flourishes.
