We LOVED it here, in the middle of condo developments there is this road off the main drag with cottages either side. We stayed in #31 in the middle of the south row. Walk west and across the street, you're at the beach, walk east...More
We booked an extended stay at Tradewinds on Bradenton Beach by finding this resort on Bringfido.com. We were looking for a nice, clean, convenient place to stay that accepted large dogs. After reading raving reviews about their amenities, we booked our vacation in the North...More
We have reserved Tradewinds in Bradenton on two occasions. This time we had a two bedroom suite with a peaceful view over the intracoastal waterway from the huge deck. The full kitchen had new appliances. The overall standard of cleanliness was excellent. The bed was...More

We stayed in a Tradewinds Cottage. Like the other reviewer said the beautiful beach is short walk across the street and chairs available free. We never got umbrellas so don't know about that. We got beach towels from the office.
We brought our dog on trip but as the previous reviewer said they are not allowed on beaches. We took her to the causeway beaches (the roads & bridges that go over water Anna Maria Sound). They're not "designated" dog beaches or dog parks but areas they are allowed. She loved it! The room had a visitor binder that had a list of restaurants that allowed dogs so we took her with us to some of them: "Maria's Family Place" and "Skinnys". She loved that too of course :)
