This place really is a great campground. Clean, pet-friendly, and so easy-going. But I really thought the beach was much closer. We had to drive about 5-10 min and then you have to battle for a parking spot once you get to the beach entrance....More

The new changes to this park has made it awful for those who have camped there for years. We also had to cancel our vacation because we booked a site almost a year ago that is one of our favorite sites (A even numbered row)...More

Totally agree with the many other reviews of how this campground has taken a serious bad turn. Why add so much paving and concrete to a state park? They squeezed in lots of extra sites and space is minimal now at many of them. Trees...More

It’s good at the campground area & I agree it was spotty at the beach area but I was at the public beach entrance near the campground & Fort.

I actually don’t know. But if you call the actual campground and speak with the volunteers or rangers and not the reservation line. They are super helpful and knowledgeable about the campground. When we went it was a pretty... More

Folks have said that the outer G loop sites are big. I booked a large site at the end of E loop for my 8 person tent.
