Wonderful resting place and lovely atmosphere with delicious food. Delightful gardens and beautiful pool. Really relaxing place to hang out after a lot of driving on safaris. Beautiful animals, plants, birds and trees All around and charming couple who own the hotel and run it with a very personal touch.

I love this place and I am extremely particular. We stayed a night before our Tanzanian safari and upon our return were placed by our tour company at the Arusha Coffee Lodge. We stayed only a few hours, checked out and returned to Arumeru Lodge. The Coffee lodge feels like a cookie cutter tourist trap and the Arumeru River Lodge...

We only stayed one night as a rest stop on our way to the bush but were floored by the beauty and service of this lodge. I wished we could have stayed longer. The grounds are like a botanical garden with impeccably manicured trees and flowers, towering flowering trees. We were warmly greeted by the manager himself and given cold...

We stayed at Arumeru River Lodge for the first two nights of our Safari and enjoyed the property. The location is closer to JRO airport than having to drive all the way into Arusha and since we were doing a day at Arusha NP, this was a great location. Our room was good size with two beds (queen and single)...

I stayed here with my family of 14 on our first night of an 8 day safari. We arrived at Arumero at around 9:00 pm and were warmly greeted by the manager and staff. After settling into our comfortable rooms we enjoyed drinks and appetizers around the fireplace in the cozy main lodge. The grounds here are lush and tropical...

We were only here one night, but the staff was very welcoming and the room nice. The grounds were lovely and it would have been someplace nice to spend more time. We didn't get in until 9:00 PM or so, but they were very accommodating to prepare us some dinner. Breakfast was also nice.

We arrived at the Kilimanjaro Airport and was driven to the lodge. This was our first visit to Tanzania. We were greeted by the host, a lovely guy who made us most welcome. The rooms were clean and tidy, the staff very friendly. They have an outdoor swimming pool and enormous green areal to stroll around. Small diks-diks roam around...

Recently set up a stay here for my son as a present. I sent three emails through their website asking about airport shuttle transport. Not one of them received a response. Charged 30 dollars per person for extremely limited buffet dinner. After a complaint charge reduced to 20 dollars per person. The grounds were nice and the wildlife was a...

My two teenage daughters and I stayed at the lodge on our arrival day in Tanazania. The lodge is very convenient to Kilimanjaro airport and is a welcome respite after a long day of travel. The grounds are very well manicured. Be sure to look out for the local wildlife: monkeys and small deer like animals which I understand to...

We stayed two nights here after a climb on Kili that did not go as planned. The staff at this hotel were so gracious and really looked after everyone from our group as best they could. The grounds of the Lodge are amazing, lots of unique plants and so many small animals (monkeys, dik dik and birds). There is a...
