This place had listed great reviews and I found it looking for a place to stay near New London for a Coast Guard Academy event. I booked a weeks out with the manager for an upcoming June stay which is high season for Connecticut and this area. I called twice to reconfirm our large cabin and was told no problem....

Glad we found Camp View Very unique property that you usually never see anymore. not your typical motel but a collection of cottages of various sizes. Ours had a patio a separate bedroom with twin bed ,a combo bedroom with a couch and a fully furnished little kitchen and little eating area. It was very cool and perfect . Other...

We reserved 3 cottages for a family wedding, and the setting could not have been better for this type of occasion. We each had privacy but could get together for fun, meals and games. Cottage #7 was great - lots of space for 4 people. Cottage #24 was also great, a studio with a kitchenette. The small "motel style" cottages...

We only spent one night here, as an alternative to a cheap motel next to a highway somewhere. It is more interesting, and more expensive than a roadside Motel 6, but worth it. There's a playground for little kids, and horseshoe pits for adults, and a big yard for nothing in particular. the unit we stayed in wasn't a standard...

This is a unique spot with every "room" being it's own little cottage. Clean and simple. There is a playground and a bit of a view of the bay over the bridge from the front cottages. We would stay there again anytime we are in the area.

We stayed at this quaint little jewel for the 4th of July weekend. We arrived Thursday afternoon and the temp was 92 degrees, May (wonderful person) warned me it was going to be really hot in the cabin, I knew ahead of time there is no air conditioning. We opened every window and the front and back doors and it...

"Motor courts originated as a series of separate or attached roadside cabins, independently operated; but when professional management took over, their size increased, and the chain concept became popular." http://www.britannica.com/EBchecked/topic/393892/motel My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at Camp View Motor Court's cottage #7. The Camp View is an old-fashioned family run business where your word is...

Was attending a wedding in the area and happened upon this find on the web! Booked one cabin for myself for one night. Very reasonable rate and accommodating on check in. Clean and quaint cabin, also very quiet area.

Best kept secret. A great place to kick back and relax. Don't expect room service or even air condition all of which you do not need, bring your own cheese and crackers along with a bottle of wine and sit outside and enjoy! Cabins are different in size and decor. All the rooms are clean and welcoming thanks to the...

First I should say that the room appeared clean and tidy. The problem started when we tried to check in. No one was there so we called the phone numbers given. No response ... for 2 hours! There could have been a note telling us which room was ours and that the room was unlocked. When finally contacted we were...
