This was perfect for what we needed. The staff was friendly, room was comfy, clean, and large. They have a basketball court! Also very dog friendly. Will stay here again (as I met several people on their 2nd and 3rd stays) So happy with our stay - staff, location, room, value
I would highly recommend this hotel as long as you don’t have a problem with dogs. It was very clean and accommodations are great, The staff is very friendly. It is still in Covid mode so don’t expect it to be like pre Covid although masks are no longer mandatory in common areas. The pool and exercise rooms are open and very clean. You Will feel safe staying there during Covid. We did.
It's been 3 years since we were here last. Standard of service and rooms are still very good. Breakfast was good and room very nice. Close to major highway but very quiet. Will stay again when next in the Wallingford area.
I stay here weekly while working in Wallingford. The staff is amazing -- friendly, helpful and responsive. The room spaces are very comfortable and good value, beds and bedding are good quality, and the breakfast options excellent. The only drawback is that the room furnishings are tired and in need of replacing -- better in some rooms than others -- but I'm told there's a full reno starting very soon and all the rooms will be updated. Once that happens this will be perfect!
We stayed here for 3 nights while we took the kids skiing at powder ridge mountain. First off the staff was one of the most friendly hotel staff I’ve ever dealt with. The rooms are ok but for the price I can’t complain. Pool was good for the kids but a little too cold for the adults on a cold day. Breakfast was better than I expected. It was included with the room and they had something different every morning. If we come back to Powder Ridge we’ll definitely be staying here.
I received amazing service at this hotel during a two night stay. Becca checked me in and out, and was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were spotless, and the housekeeper, Josafina, was friendly and kind. John and Victor from maintenance were also extremely friendly, both going out of their way and I'm sure their job description to ensure we felt welcomed and that all was well with our rooms. I met Analiz at check out on our last day, and she was extremely friendly and professional as well!
Everything was great. We were close to everything. The indoor pool was a great thing to do when it was too cold to go out. Breakfast was great. And everyone was very friendly and welcoming...even to our 3 small children.
They cut sooo much corner to build the hotel That I could hear the highway noise that is like a quarter of a mile away. I could hear the next door guest on the phone and I could hear the girl replying. Very cheap building materials
Clean contactless environment with intentionally minimal service and amenties that are fully disclosed. One of the few places we could take our kitties. Staff did not wear masks which would have been appreciated, at least when guests are at the front desk.
I usually stay in the Hilton garden that is at the same exit as this hotel when I visit my child who is a student at a nearby university. In comparison the Homewood suites I found to be very disappointing. The bedding and pillows were uncomfortable. I could hear the people above me walking around and making noise way into the wee hours of the night. My room had a funny smell and the bathroom fixtures were old and worn. The shower felt less than clean as there was mold at the top of the shower stall and it was a sad barely warm shower. The positive, if you need a full size fridge and kitchenette, that all seemed to be quite new and unused. The rooms are all suites so if you need more space that is helpful although the rooms only have king size beds.
