We had a lovely view of the harbor from our room, the Seaside First Floor room. I'm not sure of the name of the room directly above us, but I suspect the additional elevation would make the view even better. The small balcony was a...More

We are so happy to hear that you were comfortable and enjoyed your stay. Yes, the second floor seaside rooms do offer an even better view! The next time you visit Stonington you will have to head over to Noah's Restaurant for a yummy hot...More
In the heart of the borough of Stonington, Connecticut, is a charming, yellow, traditional New England residence. Neat and nondescript from the ancient commercial street, it is somewhat different when one opens the door. You've just stepped into a renovated version of an old seaside...More
We arrived early and were greeted warmly by the staff. Our room was ready and on check in we were told about the Inn, its amenities and were given a quick tour of the public spaces. The Inn was meticulous and the location fantastic.

As always our time at the inn was wonderful. Stayed three nights in room 19. In all the years we have been staying at the inn we had never stayed in this room. The splurge was well worth it! Very comfortable with a great view....More

They also serve fresh fruit. We had plenty to eat but we don't do big breakfasts. Parking is shared behind the inn with the restaurant. One night we came back from a day trip and the parking lot was full so we had to do street parking and move our car later in the evening. Too bad they don't have designated spots close to the inn. There is a very large parking lot next door but it is reserved for condos and you may get towed. Noah's was very good. So is Dog Watch and the new Dog Watch BBQ on the way to Mystic. Breakwater restaurant behind the inn is very good too. They had my favorite lobster roll. The inside is beautiful and you can eat outside and enjoy the water too. Can't eat outside at Dog Watch which is too bad.
