I cannot begin to rate this Inn with words, you have to experience it for yourself. My husband and I just returned from two nights at the Inn in the Louisa May Alcott room. Clean, comfortable and charming. Michael is the ultimate innkeeper, and his breakfasts are absolutely and positively THE BEST. He certainly has a flare for presentation, the...

Old Mystic Inn is what city dwellers expect New England to be... quintessentially quaint and charming, with a friendly host (Culinary Institute trained) who serves up incredibly creative breakfasts! Every so often a soldier or wench from the American Revolutionary period might join guests on a ghost tour, or might simply sit and chat in the comfortable parlour. Return guests...

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend get-away at The Old Mystic Inn. The main house is very charming, and our room in the carriage house was nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. Michael, the Innkeeper, was a very welcoming and gracious host, and the gourmet breakfast he prepared each morning was outstanding. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I spent 2 nights in this lovely B&B as part of an overall one month New England vacation that included staying in 9 bed and breakfast inns in 5 different states. This inn was the 7th of 9 inns that we stayed in our 30 day adventure. The Old Mystic Inn did not let us down. The...

You won't find a better Bed and Breakfast in the northeast this this. Beautiful rooms, great food, and outstanding hospitality. The attention to details, the decor of the rooms, and the service of the staff were without peer. 5 stars!

This charming inn is immaculate and planned right down to the smallest details, including rooms named after famous writers. My husband and I stayed in the Louisa May Alcott room and when the bathroom mirror steams up, one of the author's statements is etched in the glass and you can read it. The owner is also a gourmet chef, and...

As a CT local who runs a business out of Mystic and has worked with the inn professionally, I found myself in need of a room after a late night at work and Michael was happy to accommodate my husband and myself. The historic inn is a step back in time yet properly filled with all the modern amenities and...
