This country B&B was a wonderful place to get away but still be close to some of Connecticut's tourist attractions. Located about a 10-minute drive from Mystic on curvy country roads, the owners have created a seamless blend of 18th century charm and modern convenience. Enjoy free wi-fi and air conditioning but have breakfast in an authentic 18th century dining... More

This was our fifth visit with John and Mary. 10 minutes from Route 95, you could be a thousand miles away in the country while still being very close to wineries, casinos, entertainment and historic Connecticut. We came to see the Charles Morgan re-launched from Mystic Seaport. Check that review also. This is a true Yankee farmhouse. Nothing is straight.... More

We had a wonderful stay at Inn at Lower Farm. Our room was clean and cozy; the hosts are fun and friendly; and the breakfasts absolutely delicious. The crab meat omelets were amazing. The inn is close to Mystic, the casinos, and many wineries. It was a perfect location for our long weekend trip to southern CT.

There aren't too many places we've been that I would recommend without adding some type of caveat. The Inn at Lower Farm is one of them. The farm house was originally built in the mid 1700's and has been meticulously restored to maintain the integrity of that era. You won't be disappointed if you enjoy seeing a bit of what... More

We stayed here after a concert at the MGM Grand at Foxwoods. Its realitively hidden just a stone's throw away from there and also close to Mystic and many other sights. Great old farmhouse with lots of character. The hosts are really hospitable and we enjoyed our breakfast very much. Prices were reasonable. Recommended.

What's great about this INN /BB is the location to so many local events. The inn keepers are very warm as is the fireplace at breakfast. This old farm house has a lot of charm and worth the tour around. Check out every nook. Being winter the gardens were not in bloom so we plan a visit in late spring... More

We wanted to stay in an old New England house and this Inn really fit the bill. The owners, Mary and Jon, could not have been more hospitable. The entire house is beautifully furnished and our "Deacon Gray" room was superb. Imagine waking up each morning to a view of the well manicured grounds and gardens. The morning breakfasts were... If you are visiting the Mystic area, this is the B&B to choose. It's far away enough from the busyness of the highways and area in general but close enough to get where you need to efficiently. We visited the Mystic art show for the day and stayed here overnight. It's really the perfect B&B located on nice property in... More

This B&B is an excellent place to stay. The Inn is located in a very peaceful and hidden rural spot. The big and harmonic garden is an invitation to read and relax. The interieur of the house conveys a very pleasant charme of the past and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The housekeepers Mary and John are the... More

My wife and I were at the Inn when our freak snow storm hit. Only 3 inches at the Inn, 17 inches at home, but no power. John got fires going in all the fireplaces, we had flashlights and candles. Mary still had a full breakfast for all of us. It was just a great time and the atmosphere was... More

“The Deacon Gray room was lovely. If we come back in the summer we would probably choose one of the smaller rooms only because prices go up during high season. I'm sure all of the rooms are great!”
