Laguna Volcanis a lake in the forest near Bermejo and Amboro Natural Reserve. I went to see nature and did not stay at the resort. The bungalows look nice from the outside and the restaurant staff was very friendly when I asked for breakfast, not being a hotelguest. They have a local guide at the hotel that can take you...

We spent two nights at this hotel, at the beginning and at the end of our Bolivia roundtrip. The experiences were different but both times a little strange. The first time we arrived one hour ahead of Check-in time, tired from an early morning arrival at Santa Cruz airport. Even though the hotel was almost completely empty, we were made...

Very nice grounds and atmosphere. It looked like there had been some golf holes at one time but no tees, greens, etc. were evident. Rooms were good as well but some bubbling/peeling paint was noticed. Food was decent (and perhaps overpriced) but beware of the spicy pasta dish which was indeed spicy. We stayed in normal hotel-type section but there...

Such a shame that a place that has the potential of offering a dreamed scape left us feeling robed. The location is pretty, although you will get a much more dramatic and beautiful scenery at Refugio Los Volcanes. We stayed at a "cabana" and it was very pretty and clean. Dinner was average - apart from the desserts that were...

Very bad food and extremely expensive! A raw chicken and cold french fries!! The service ridiculous and with no good mood make you feel uncomfortable and willing to leave. The scenery is beautiful but because they didn't make it! Really bad experience!

The location was beautiful and the room comfortable but that's about all the good I can say. We were a group of 24 with our travel agent staying there. We were all disappointed in their untrue statements about the facilities such as providing us with transportation down their windy, muddy road as well as telling our travel agent it was...

I stayed here with a group of 24 persons, including our travel/tour agent, in July 2014. We chose to stay here in order to visit the town of Samaipata, "El Fuerte" ruins, and Amboro Park. First, to identify this Hotel Laguna Volcan Golf Eco Resort, it is in the state of Santa Cruz not Tarija, and it is near Samaipata...

Our church group of 24 stayed 2 nights there after 10 days working in Cochabamba but cancelled the 3rd night because the long driveway to the hotel was impassable to our buses due to rain-slicked mud. Each trip in or out was an ordeal. The hotel was little help getting our people up and down -- most people had to...

What a view! Stepping out onto the pool deck was breath taking. Beautiful property in the middle of nowhere, was incredibly impressed by the quality of rooms and property despite being so remote. Food was ok nothing too special but it was good. The golf course and tennis course need some maintenance. But the cottages are very comfortable and nice....

I stayed for just one night - but as I am a birdwatcher this was the ideal place to be. I walked around the take and nearby woods and saw a large variety of birds. The bedroom opened out onto the grounds. Food and drink were both acceptable, but not outstanding. I would certainly visit again.
