We've been experiencing the Inn, and continue to do so, for over 45 years. We would highly recommend Hopkins Inn as a venue for dining, special occasions/functions, and overnight accommodations. The lunch and dinner cuisine is typically a traditional blend of individual Swiss and Austrian fare, with weekly specials, in addition to a few familiar steak and seafood offerings. The...

We had dinner reservations for a recent Saturday night. We had requested outdoor seating(which I highly recommend), but we were rained out! We were given a table for two inside. Our waiter was very nice. I had the scallops and my husband had the salmon. Both dishes came with nicely steamed carrots send green beans as well as their house...

We had a great time staying at the Hopkins Inn for 3 days. We haven't been here for years when we came with our son on the trio back from Maine. The owners are so nice and the food delicious. Would highly recommend this Inn any time of the year.

Beautiful inn overlooking a lovely lake but the lunch left a lot to be desired. I had a shrimp salad....it looked so pretty. It was supposed to have a raspberry dressing but all it had was some tasteless oil. The "pinot grigio" was of the poorest quality. Pretty view....disappointing lunch.

The Inn seems like a big old house that has been converted into an Inn and restaurant. Our room (9) was large with a comfortable bed, television and spare bed - all clean and neat, with dated decor, possibly on purpose. Nice, comfortable, clean, good location to the lake. Lovely setting. Good value.

We recently drove up to the Hopkins Inn and just had lunch. The Inn is situated in a beautiful location for patio dining over looking Lake Waramaug. The view from the patio of the lake is excellent and we very much enjoyed the food. Serving time for lunch is indicated that it is only from 12 to 2 so most...

Beautiful lake views!! This was our first time staying and dining at the Hopkins Inn. Hopkins Inn and Hopkins Winery held their first 5 course dinner paired with Hopkins wine. Without a doubt this was one of our top 10 things and places to stay. We would definitely recommend it! Food was delicious, wine was perfect and the staff was...

We stayed in the Inn when visiting my son in October, 2015. We spent 10 days there. That was a memorable experience. The Inn is located on the top of a hill with amazing lake view. Especially, in autumn, there is colorful foliage in the lake area. The Inn owns a restaurant, a vine yard, and a wine store. We...

We just got back from our 3rd stay at this fantastic place. We've decided to stay here once a season, because it's the perfect combination of Old World Charm & New England Tradition... Beth, Franz & their wonderful staff make each visit more enjoyable than the last...the rooms are simple, comfortable & the views can't be beat. The restaurant is...

We were not in the Main Building of the Inn.. lucky to get reservations since we were in the neighborhood for Thanksgiving day. We stayed in a new set of rooms higher up the hill, just in front the the vineyard of a next door business neighbor. The room was outstanding -- kitchen, dining island, a small terrace looking out...
