I travel to New Haven each week and have stayed at Omni and New Haven Hotel. New haven hotel has larger, more modern rooms. It doesn't charge you for Wifi like Omni does and it's parking is less expensive across the street. It also struck me as less stuffy. Staff at both places are very helpful. I was able to...

Wow! Staff very helpful, professional and kind. Room 717 very clean and the bed, well I wish I had it. Had an early departure, and made sure I got to my car safely at 4:30 AM. I highly recommend it over the Omni.

Excellent location only 1 block from Yale University. Numerous restaurants surround this hotel from Mexican to tappas to pizza. Nice clean downstown. Hotel says it's newly renovated but I only found the rooms average. Comfortable beds. Good gym. Restaurant in the hotel is mediocre.

A friends wedding brought us to the up and coming city of New Haven. Overall, a good place to rest your head for a night or two when in New Haven. We received the group rate for a room which was modern and comfortable. We were on a high floor and had a limited view to the east. The greatest...

The hotel is gorgeous! The Lobby very nice, the parking arrangement convenient, the check-in and staff were fine. The rooms are spacious and well appointed and the beds are so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. Everything was spotless and I truly didn't want to leave in the morning. Since we went straight from this hotel to a...

Overall, the best way to sum up this hotel is good value for money. It is cheaper than the Omni and The Study. I haven't stayed at the Study, but compared to the Omni, the New Haven Hotel is comparable. Given that the Omni is generally more expensive, I would choose this hotel over the Omni. The location is slightly...

The New Haven Hotel is a standard city hotel. The rooms are clean and neat and the furniture and fittings are in good shape. It would have been nice to have a small easy chair and side table (there is only a desk chair, ergonomic to be sure). The beds are comfortable and the bathroom nice. Standard fitments like coffee...

The hotel was clean, friendly, helpful, quiet and with a comfortable bed. We were offered snacks and breakfast. The older vibe fit the neighborhood. We were near the University and so many restaurants.

This is a very nice hotel. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The proximity to Yale is good. The wifi worked well, and was easy to access. The reservation agent recorded my email address incorrectly so I never received electronic confirmation and, oddly, it took a couple calls to figure this out and resolve it. Otherwise, I highly...

The New Haven Hotel suggests it has the most luxurious rooms in the city. If that’s true, the pickings must be ordinary indeed. On the other hand their claim to be where “comfort and convenience meet” is a very good description. Think a well-run, mid-level chain property and you’re there. Everything certainly is clean, shiny and in good working order....
