This property has been fully renovated with large rooms, each including a large couch/pullout bed. The bathrooms are still a bit small (only room for one). The staff is well trained. There is a restaurant/bar on premises with a nicely varied menu all day. Easy to order and eat in your room. However, there is no buffet style breakfast. So,...

Front desk Michelle renews my faith in customer service! Friendly, cordial and a tremendous asset to the Marriott brand. Property, location and staff are fantastic! I would highly recommend this property to anyone needing to visit Yale University or other area attractions.

Marriott touted that this Courtyard is their newest property in New Haven, but they must have purchased a really old hotel because the building is really showing its wear. The basics are fine, and the staff really friendly, but the hotel itself is pretty banged up with little chips and dings and dents all around the place. Our room was...

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us and for staying with us. With all new guestrooms recently completed earlier this year, we plan to conclude our renovations this winter with a remodel to our Bistro, Lobby, and meeting rooms. The prices in our Bistro are competitive in the market and within the standard of the...

First of all, I love staying at Marriott. This location is located on the perimeter of the Yale campus. I arrived at 11:30 pm and they still charged me the $20 parking fee to park for 6 hours. When I arrived I was hungry and everything they had was shut down. The front desk clerk advised me to only go...

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us and for staying with us. Parking in the city is at a premium and all New Haven downtown hotels charge for parking. We are the lowest charge between all 4 New Haven hotels. We do offer rates that include breakfast but as a brand, the Courtyard by Marriott,...

Kind of a sketchy drive to get here, but it is Extremely Close to Yale University Campus. Great access to local sights and restaurants! Ok facility, clean, and nice staff. It does go on a "lock down" after 10:00pm, and you have to use your room card to access the Front Main Door-which tends to lead one to think-it may...

Stayed here for a wedding on the Yale Campus: very well-located, walking distance from the campus, from great food, from lots to do. Comfortable hotel. Big but not noisy. Starbucks in lobby that I did not patronize. Definitely recommend.

We were there for a wedding - with a number of kids, we needed to utilize the most of of the space we were given for a single room (3 kids). That being said, the customer service was excellent! They were very accommodating for us, and every request we had was met with a "no problem - whatever you need"...

This was my third stay at this hotel and on the plus side, there's been renovation since my previous stay. This is your typical Courtyard which isn't my favorite hotel in the Marriott line, but the options for a Yale visit are seriously limited. Other than The Study which is essentially on the Yale campus, this hotel is arguably the...

Staff was courteous and the hotel was clean. The location was good. They do charge for parking which i was not made aware of until checkout which is annoying and seems to be nickle and diming the customers.

Thank you for taking the time to share your comments with us. We are certainly pleased to hear of your positive experience with the staff and room cleanliness. The good: -Staff was courteous and efficient on checkin. - Clean room. -Soft, fluffy towels. -Comfy bed and pillows. -Restaurant at the hotel was ok. Pleasant staff who took my order and delivered my food at my table. Had a good tomato flatbread for dinner as I was looking for something light. It had a very thin crust almost like...
