Sound Reach is the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing get away either for 1 person , a couple or family. Pam and Larry made a wonderful breakfast every morning. Very accommodating to our needs. Close to the beach and center of town. Rooms were kept clean and neat. Gave us ideas of where to go and places to...

We have stayed at this comfortable and peaceful B&B on two occasions, most recently last week. Both times we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. It is a beautiful home with spacious rooms. It is nestled on a hillside in the woods and makes for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. Pam, our hostess, was wonderful and very accommodating. She serves...

We came for just the weekend as we had an event to attend on Saturday. I was looking for a nice place to stay that was close to where we needed to be. I stumbled upon Sound Reach and was so glad I did. The weekend was made even nicer by meeting this lovely couple who runs the B&B. Their...

This was the perfect B and B for our overnight retreat from New York City. The house is peacefully located in the hills near Guilford, close enough for site seeing, and far away from any city sounds. Our hosts Pam and Larry were very welcoming, and respectful of our privacy. We had the use of their attractive living room and...

My fiancé and I live in New Haven and were craving some quiet time away from the city somewhere peaceful and gorgeous. Sound Reach was beyond perfect. You feel like you are in some sort of enchanting countryside - there are hummingbirds and woods and farms all around. The house itself is really cool too. Like a Swiss chalet/log cabin....

My week-long stay at The Sound Reach was ideal. I was in town visiting family and friends and this B&B provided a quiet, safe place to return to each evening. Pamela and Larry(owners) are accommodating, helpful, and charming people. My room was clean and comfortable, and the surrounding area of the premises are beautiful, especially with fall foliage. Would definitely...

My adult daughter and I used a James Taylor concert as an excuse to visit New England again. We'd passed thru Guilford maybe 5 years ago and were captured by it in only a brief 15-minute stop. As it turned out, my search for lodging in the Mystic area turned up Sound Reach. Oh my, what a stroke of divine...

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sound Reach! We'd planned a visit to New Haven and wanted a place outside of the city. This quiet spot is far from the crowds - a bit out of town - on a hill in North Guilford - and well worth it. Sound Reach was quite possibly one of the quietest places we ever...

Found this wonderful B&B through Tripadvisor on our roadtrip along the coast. Getting there you drive along winding roads through the green forest (must be beautiful in the fall!) and for a while we thought we were lost. Although the place feels a bit secluded it's just a short drive away from the Guilford shore and marina and an even...

I found this gem while looking for a place to stay in my old hometown to visit family. My son and I stayed in the room with two twin beds, and were pleasantly surprised to find out that half of the house was ours--Pam said she only rents out one room at a time, so no one has to worry...

“All rooms appear to be corner rooms with good views. The house is very quiet, around a comfortable common area. The only decision might be the bed arrangement you prefer: queen or twin, etc.”
