I was the occupant of Room #322 on 12/23/21 at the Quality Inn in Cromwell, CT. Approximately after 3 hours of being in the room I discovered cockroaches on top of the refridgerator/under the microwave. No response from the manager or owner as of 12/26/21 at 6pm.
Stayed one night in early September as part of New England trip. Some observations: 1). Pretty newer room that was clean 2). Nice person was nice 3). Breakfast area - basic with waffles Felt pretty comfortable at hotel with pandemic.
Room was not very clean. One of the beds had stains on the sheets, and the towels also had stains. There was no soap in the bathroom so we washed our hands with shampoo. The handle was missing to change the the shower to tub and the shower head was just a trickle. The advertise continental and hot breakfast and we saw no breakfast. My husband was able to get a cup of coffee but thats it. No juice, water or food.
Overall the room was ok. Could have been cleaner. The sheets had stains on them so needless to say we slept on top of the bed. There was no soap in the bathroom so we were washing our hands with shampoo. The handle to change from shower to tub was broken and the shower head was broken so we only had a trickle of water. The room also smelled like smoke even though it was a no smoking room. The staff was very nice, but the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.
Room service was great came everyday I also thought the front desk staff was very pleasant especially Gopal. I actually locked myself out one night and he came to help me get back into my room. I would recommend.
