My wife and I went on a last minute getaway and disoivered Rock Hall. Beautiful, funky gilded age mansion redone very well. Our room (Chamber 2) and bathroom were beautiful. We had a couples massage int he room that was very relaxing. Michael is a great and funny host who really shines with his culinary treats. We had shrimp with... More

This mansion in the countryside is a gem. The rooms are clean and spacious and the space downstairs has many quaint and old antiques to explore. Most of all the breakfast is first class with Mike, the owner, pulling out all stops to provide a healthy and delicious breakfast complete with eggs cooked any style (except sunny side up) by... I found this spot on line, and like most people the wife and I were hoping that what we saw on line would match the experience we would have once we arrived. Rock Hall Luxe not only matched what we saw, the experience far exceeded our expectations. Upon arriving, and parking in the circular drive we were taken by the... More

Rock Hall is a beautiful and indulgent experience. Arriving at the Inn, the strength of the rock and masonry architecture is rich and impressive. You feel like you are arriving at a castle...and as you enter...you realize a fantasy is in the making. Everything inside is huge and artistic and surprisingly comfortable. The number of rooms is limited....so the feeling... More

Our overnight stay at the Rock hall Inn was nothing less that spectacular. The tasteful décor and period correct furnishings were welcoming and comforting. We enjoyed the grounds that were a well-planned and thought out botanical display. The layout of the trees and lay of the land were Park like and southing to the soul. The view by the pool... More

This was an amazing find in Colebrook. We have stayed in Norfolk many times but never knew about Rock Hall. After some internet searching we wound up at this wonderful B & B. We arrived a bit earlier than the scheduled check in time. When we entered this amazing home it was like we stepped back in time, quickly making... More

Driving up the circular driveway to the breathtaking entrance of Rock Hall was our introduction to a perfect weekend. As we opened the front door we were greeted with a warm welcome by the innkeeper, Michael. He led us to our room, Chamber 2, where we let out an audible sigh upon seeing the elegance and charm of what would... More

Before selecting a new place – particularly for a getaway weekend! - I read reviews in this order: ALL the negative ones within 2 years and then all reviews with 2 months of a negative one. That tells me the worst that can be expected, as well as how a property responded to the issues. I also discount reviews, particularly... More

The property is certainly unique and different than your typical B&B. When we arrived, it was like stepping into a haunted castle as it was dark and cold with no visible human presence. Venturing up the wide wooden staircase, calling 'hello' every few steps, we finally got a bark from a dog. Following the bark, we were halfway up to... More

We booked this place for an anniversary getaway, but the website was a bit misleading. We tend to avoid B&B's b/c we find them a bid odd. The website of this place made it seem like an "Inn", not some guy's house. He runs it by himself and while he is very nice, it def. needs a woman's touch. If... More
