Don’t book a suite. Not worth the outrages cost for what you get. Not to mention, a colleague who stayed on the non suite side was made to feel like a lower class citizen for booking a deluxe room on the non suite side. All guests should be treated as such. But I digress. Furniture is old, worn, and scratched. Dated. Tiny, old, non smart TV. Hope you weren’t expecting Netflix. The room in general didn’t feel clean. Visible dirt, stains, and the dreaded long hairs that didn’t belong to me. Sticky floors. Couldn’t sleep. Loud building construction next door at it’s beginning stages. Looks like they’ll be awhile. Noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Paper thin walls. Could hear loud toilet flushing from several other neighbors. Could also hear everyone’s doors OPEN, and close. Air conditioner made weird loud noise every time it kicked on or off throughout the night. Couldn’t get the room temperature comfortable enough for sleeping. It was either always too hot or too cold. Bed was extremely hard. Non-existing comforter. The alleged “comforters”on their beds feels like a couple of sheets covering you. Thinnest comforter I’ve ever seen in my life. I woke up several times throughout the night. Just couldn’t get comfortable. Horrible night’s sleep. This property should be ashamed of themselves. Maybe they are. Probably why the customer service was so bad. Those at the front desk were rude, a bit snobby, and were ill knowledgeable on how to treat guest. I expected better, Hilton. This property doesn’t deserve the name. I’m sure truck-stop motels outshine these rooms.…
Our family and friends traveled to Bristol to go to Lake Compounce amusement park. We wanted to stay overnight to take advantage of the park for 2 days. We stayed at the Doubletree which is right outside the park entrance. Great hotel...excellent customer service. Extremely clean...quick service when I called for towels. My kids enjoyed the indoor pool and towels were provided by the front desk. We also took advantage of their great outdoor restaurant where the service was amazing and the food was great for our tired group...there were 20 of us and they accommodated us handily. Their breakfast buffet was standard for the Hilton chain and service again was great.
Great hotel with wonderful people working at the front desk and breakfast area easy on/off RT 72 and RT 84 good breakfast food and clean rooms easy parking and new hotel being built next door will jelp both facilities.
Bartenders were very helpful, funny. Location is at industrial area, not much scenery, but hotel was top rate. Clean, friendly , food was good, great to socialize after events at the bar with food also
I needed a weekend "staycation" spot and this handsome hotel was just fantastic. It is very clean, well appointed and full of amenities, so you never have to leave the property. The lobby has a very warm feeling with a fireplace and cozy furniture for lounging. Daniel at the front desk anticipated my arrival, had my room keys ready to go, and made me feel very welcome with a warm, housemade oatmeal cookie. Nice touch! I had a room on the upper floor which was spacious, fresh and has lovely amenities. The bed was super comfy! There's a sports bar and restaurant on the lobby level with a an excellent food and beverage menu. The food is surprisingly good and the staff is attentive and friendly. The location is minutes away from I-84 and close to ESPN campus and Lake Compounce Amusement Park if you happen to stay during the summer season. I will be a return guest soon!…
