The inn and spa in this little town is great for a very low key weekend. The inn itself is a little dated and the accomodations are similar to staying over at a family members house (nice and clean but nothing special) We stayed in the largest room ( I believe the Anne?). We brought our own wine and enjoyed...

I go here just about every 4-6 weeks for a massage and facial. The place is definitely outdated but the technicians and line of products are excellent. The services are reasonably priced and the staff is always friendly. I don't think I would recommend staying here overnight but for spa services I do love it. It located about 5-10 minute...

My husabnd and I were excited to score a Groupon to stay at this Inn. While I cannot speak for the spa experience, I can tell you that the Inn was certainly overpriced for the experience. The view was not at all what I expected. You could see an abandoned, rusty warehouse from our window! The room decor was extremely...

The inn is charming! The room we stayed in was small but comfortable and more importantly clean. There was a white noise machine in the room we stayed in which made outside noise not existent (should be mandatory in hotel rooms everywhere!). The temperature in the room was quite hot at night and the windows were unable to be opened...

I don’t normally write reviews of places I’ve stayed, but I had to just write a note to say what a fantastic time we had at By the Sea. The staff was very friendly and helpful and also gave us a great dinner recommendation. We had a couples massage in the afternoon that was incredible and we both enjoyed immensely....

My husband and I stayed overnight for our anniversary. I had a wonderful, wonderful time but the inn itself isn't what made the experience great, it just contributed to it. I've stayed elsewhere, where it is the hotel that really has that wow factor. This isn't it. We arrived late due to my husband's work schedule. When I called to...

I live only a few miles from By the Sea but enjoyed my stay there - overnight at the inn plus spa the next morning. The room was clean, the inn lovely (I had it to myself and watched t.v. in the "den" while snacking on bowls of treats), the spa services delightful. Only slight drawback was that breakfast was...

This was a the second year in a row that we had taken advantage of "By the Sea Inn & Spa's" "Mid-week Getaway". As Innkeepers ourselves we require rejuvenation every so often. "By the Sea Inn and Spa" is just the ticket. We arrived mid-afternoon, checked into the Inn and then each had a massage. The Inn and Spa is...
