We took our family of 4 for a wedding and stayed here because it was where the rest of the wedding party stayed. We were hesitant since this location was more expensive than a couple of the other options but we were not disappointed! When you stay at Zepher you are within walking distance of everything these is to do, and there is so much!! We had our own car but ended up not using it since this is so perfectly located. Highly recommended. I cant wait to come here again.

We were visiting the hotel for one night on a long trip in Colorado. The hotel was disappointing - we got a large condo but it was very hot . A ventilator should have been available in the room but was not there . We asked several times to get one to the room but it never arrived there . In addition we found out that we were highly overcharged but the hotel blamed booking on this - but after writing to booking they mentioned it’s the hotel . In addition the hotel charges an additional 50$ as a damage guarantee but this was never refunded to us !!! The hot tub outside was poorly maintained one not working at all . Overall a disappointment with bad service not a good deal costing so high

Dear Adina E, Thank you for taking the time to let us know about the issues you had at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge. Zephyr Mountain Lodge is not a hotel, each condo is individually owned, therefore amenities, decor, upgrades and views can vary and all charges are the responsibility of the party through whom you booked, not the lodge. Usually there is at least a fan in every condo and our high altitudes cool down well each night. During low occupancy, we frequently run just one hot tub per building, but try to always keep them in top condition, your feedback about this will be passed on to our maintenance people. We apologize for the problems you had and ask that you contact the rental management company you booked the condo through so that they can address your financial concerns.    The Zephyr Mountain Lodge Homeowners Association takes great pride in the building, and wants it to remain the favorite place to stay for visitors to Winter Park.   - The Zephyr Mountain Lodge HOA Board

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to enjoy ski in ski out. The staff were friendly. The room has microwave, refrigerator and oven. I stayed just one night, so I did not use these appliances. I stayed in the riverside building at paring level (LL) and I did not to stay in this floor. Other thing that I really did not understand is the check in and check out time. There is 6 hours difference between then (in 10AM out 4PM) and takes an eternity to your room be ready
Thank ReinaldoViola

Dear ReinaldoViola, Thank you for taking the time to share comments on your stay at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge with other travelers. We apologize that you had check in/out issues and ask that you pass this on to the rental management company you booked through. Note that, as each condo is individually owned, units can be booked through several different companies as well as directly through owners, each has their own policies.   The Zephyr Mountain Lodge Homeowners Association takes great pride in the building, and wants it to remain the favorite place to stay for visitors to Winter Park. We hope you'll come back and try a different rental company and/or unit location. - The Zephyr Mountain Lodge HOA Board

It is located at the base of the Winter Park Zephyr chair lift. This is a ski in / ski out property and very convenient to the ski school, lifts and equipment rental place.

There's no restaurant in the building but it is in very close proximity to several shops (apparel, ski stores, small grocery store, etc) and restaurants (sit down restaurants, snack places, bars and a pizza place). There is a shuttle from the hotel to other areas of Winter Park, which gives you access to other shops and restaurants as well.

The hotel has two sections, which are separate buildings, Slopeside and Riverside. We were in the Riverside building. Each building has it's own two hot tubs, located outside (Riverside's are accessed on the parking garage level). What fun to sit in the hot tub while it is snowing!

The front desk and maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful.

The ski lockers, located on floor 1 of Riverside building, are a great addition! They are new this year. They are wide enough to hold 4 sets of skis, poles and helmets (but not our ski boots!). You receive a fob that opens the locker.

We had a one bedroom unit, which had a separate bedroom with queen bed, closet and tv. The living room had a pull out couch, fireplace, dining table with 4 chairs, full kitchen. It was tight when the bed was pulled out. The bathroom had 1 sink, toilet and shower and was huge. The towels and linens were good quality. Maid service only every 4th or 5th day, but that was fine for our purposes.

There are only 2 elevators in the building and they were slow. One elevator was broken much of the time we were there. I was told that the building is getting brand new elevators in the summer, so this shouldn't be an ongoing issue. There are stairs as well to each level of the building.

The lobby is comfortable, with a fire and several comfortable chairs you can relax in.
We were happy to be there and loved our visit!
Thank adqp

Dear adqp,   Thank you for taking the time to share comments on your stay at the Zephyr Mountain Lodge with other travelers. You gave a very accurate and thorough review of our amenities, however I would note that a Starbucks and one restaurant (Doc's) are in the Riverside building (you do have to exit the lodge to get to them). And we are looking forward to those new elevators! We are happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, and hope you'll come back again and again!  - The Zephyr Mountain Lodge HOA Board

The Zephyr is only a few steps away from the ski lifts so it is the best location for a ski vacation at Winter Park. The facility is well managed and organized so it offers great value. There are plenty of restaurants in the village to choose from and you can catch a free shuttle into town if you decide to go there. The Zephyr is a great option for families or couples. It's relatively quiet and there are quite a few programs scheduled by the resort that are held in the village.
Thank Ken Q

No, but there is a laundry room on each floor. It’s $3 total to wash a dry one load. Change machines in ski locker room.
