Location - right in the heart of Lionshead. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Although this hotel is not ski in/out the free valet service is very convenient and walking is only 3-4 minutes to the main gondola. Shuttle service to Vail Village is right outside the main entrance. Rooms - we had the Timberline suite (unit 4) which...

Stayed here for our vacation, and it was great...the main thing I would really highlight is the staff, they were wonderful...kind, and attentive. Room was great, and was all we needed for our lovely holiday

One of the things I must complain about is the room cleaning. Seriously, it's the worst service I remember in 4 star hotel. Cleaning ladies wouldn't pick up the obvious trash from the room such as pizza leftovers placed next to the garbage. Our linen weren't changed for 5 days although we had some wine spots on them. They wouldn't...

Right at the base of the mountain at Lionshead. Ski rentals and ski valet service on property. It makes skiing real easy and convenient. The pool and hot tub leave a little to be desired. Skiing at Vail is always great!

The great stuff: Location, Service, Staff, Ski Valet, Ski rental / trial, amenities. The disappointing stuff: $35 resort fee not disclosed and as a platinum guest, very underwhelming recognition... No free breakfast, indeed resort fee, paid internet (about to end, free as of Jan. 15?), no recognition, I had to call to get my welcome gift... Overall, Gold/Plat. Marriott members...

From the pre-trip Concierge service to the on-site ski rental at Cascade sports, all the people we encountered provided high quality customer service. The hotel is extremely convenient to the Lionshead gondola. Bus stop into Vail Village is right in front of hotel. Travelling with family of 5 we were more than comfortable in joining rooms. Clean, well furnished rooms...

Marriott Vail is about 80-100 yards from the Lionhead Gondola and also from the Lionhead square. There is also an in-house ski and snowboard rental facility and storage, and they also provide a ski valet service to and from the hotel to the gondola. So it is really convenient for a ski trip. Another really nice perk is that the...

The Marriott Lionshead is only a couple mins from the ski lifts - and their ski valets with help you get your skis to the gondola. The skiing at Vail is amazing. Lionshead (and the hotel) is very easily accessed to and from the hill. If you want to head into Vail village there are free Vail busses - we...

Wonderful NYE holiday. Hotel staff could not be kinder. Jessica, the concierge, was excellent. We waited too long to make our arrangements and within an hour she had us set up with wonderful dinners, skiing information, riding snow mobiles and a horse drawn carriage ride. The front desk was always helpful. The rooms seem small because of the large furniture....
