This is a spectacular Marriott. We spent 5 nights as a family (2 adults, 2 older children) in one of the superior double queen rooms. The room itself is basic, but the rooftop balcony is awesome for happy hours after a long day on the slopes. The hotel ski valet has your

Hello, Some of the units do have washer and dryers available within the unit. The hotel does have coin operated washers and dryers available on the 3rd and 5th floors for guest use. We also offer dry cleaning services if needed. Please let us know if you have any additional questions prior to your arrival. Thank you, Benjamin - Front Desk Manager

How do you get to the hotel from airport? What's the best and cheaper way?.
If you are joining us for the Winter season, we recommend the Colorado Mountain Express (CME). Weather conditions can be unpredictable through the mountains at times so if you were to rent a car, make sure the vehicle is equipped with all wheel drive or good snow tires. The Parking at the Vail Marriott Mountain Resort and the local public parking ramps is $50.00 per night. Once you have arrive in Vail there is very convenient local transportation via the in town bus.

Brian, Thanks for your interest in staying with us. We are a short walk to the Eagle Bahn Gondola and Children's Ski School. We offer a complimentary Ski Valet service to help you carry your gear to and from the mountain. The walk takes about 4 minutes and is about 250 yards. I hope this helps answer your question and please give us a call if you have any more questions. Hope to see you this winter! Regards, Shawn Weatherred Front Office Manager Vail Marriott Mountain Resort

Do all guest rooms have a balcony and/or a fireplace?
No - not all.

We went in September when the weather was very hot mostly! Vale is a ski resort so I guess hiking is best left to a more temperate time of year. We didn't like Vale so much as Breckenridge - Vale is a bit of a Disney-esque German skiing town. Pretty but we much preferred the more honest American style.
