This was the third time we had stayed at the resort and we stayed in a main-level suite facing Gore Creek. A huge part of the experience is hearing the rushing water through the open balcony doors. Our kids loved the pool. I have noticed that the resort is usually packed with families, so it may not be the best...

Vail Cascade Resort sits a couple of miles west of Vail Village, which is nice if you are looking for a quieter location that still has a lot to offer.
