We got bumped over here when our Mountain Village hotel overbooked us. THANK GOD! I work at a historic hotel in Boulder, Colorado so loved being at a historic property filled with history and charm! You feel like a real Telluride local when you stay here. Right downtown and in a building which has seen everything. I loved the decor...

A friendly welcoming employee helped us with our bags and showed us to our 2nd floor King room on the main street side. The spacious room with an extremely comfortable bed had lots of windows for watching the snowfall. As in many older hotels the bathroom was a bit small with not much counter space for toiletry bags but that...

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay with us at the New Sheridan in Telluride. Although we no longer have a rooftop hot tub, we have renovated the space into a rooftop bar called The Roof. We invite you to visit during the summer when we serve specialty drinks and casual dining from 2-9pm daily with the same...

Everything this place offers is 5 stars from the check in clerk who ran out to my car to help with out luggage, to the beyond cozy modern amenity room, to the convenience in the middle of everything, to the awesome bar and restaurant. I love seeing the history of Colorado and Telluride shown on pictures on the walls. It...

The New Sheridan hotel seemed to be exactly what we were looking for on our last ski trip - a lovely, historic property right on the main street in Downtown Telluride. Upon checking in, however, we learned to our great dismay that the hotel had no hot tub. We were told that (even in the ski season!) the hot tub...

We appreciate your honest feedback and we can assure you that the decision to replace the hot tub with a rooftop bar was not one we took lightly. However, we have found great success with the The Roof and believe it is a great addition to our hotel. With that, we are so glad you chose to stay with us...

The hotel is charming with touches from the past and all of the conveniences of today. The room was really nice with great furnishings. The hotel is located in the perfect place to wander through Telluride which has great restaurants and shops. The staff was attentive and so helpful with everything we needed. If you want to stay in Telluride proper, right in the middle of town with all the cute little shops and restaurants, this is a great place to stay! If you want modern, then go to the other side of the mountain. This hotel is beautifully redone, but still shows its age. Tall ceilings, large rooms, but tiny elevator, no...

Don't get me wrong, this hotel is lovely, the rooms are large and the staff are really fantastic, however, given the location of the hotel (above a very busy bar) it is very noisy (the hotel actually gives you a 'white noise' machine (as they are aware of the noise). Thank you for sharing your feedback, it helps us to constantly improve.
