When we arrived the front desk agent was on the phone for 20 minutes before acknowledging us standing in front of her. She assigned us to a room that was not what we had booked. After being in the room for 20 minutes we started to hear water pouring in from the ceiling in our bathroom. My husband actually videoed...

This hotel is a good deal for the $. Please note though, no continental breakfast. They offer coffee, hot chocolate, but the coffee wasn't very good, and the first morning, they were out when I checked. Also, was noisy the first night , but the 2nd night was quiet. Room though was clean and comfortable.

This is a great hotel if your just looking for a place to sleep for a night. Not a place to take your family on a vacation. The beds were not the best but sufficient for the night. Rooms are set up kinda awkward. Only coffee and tea for breakfast. Frozen burrito or sandwich if you can't wait. I can...

I own a home in the area that I'm currently renting out, so I have to make trips to the area to check on it and my tenants. It's hard to justify paying resort prices when the visit is short and all I need is a bed. The Steamboat Hotel fits the bill for a budget alternative in an otherwise...

I booked on-line for a queen room that "sleeps three": checkin was an absolute breeze! But the "sleeps 3" was just wrong. Our hostess agreed that the listing should not be that way. She quickly got us a room with 2 beds. That was easy! But then the toilet would not flush so I called the front desk for assistance....

My husband and I stayed here one night when traveling around Colorado and enjoyed our stay. It was a cost effective option in Steamboat. Check-in was very easy and they had some pamphlets and a coffee/tea/cider station there for guests. The girl at the counter was able to give us info on the location when we inquired. The beds were...

We picked this hotel for being available for the lowest price on Labor Day weekend and it turned out to be a great value. The staff are friendly, the place is clean and quiet, and the beds are comfortable. The rooms come with a coffee maker, a nice tv, free wifi, mini fridge and soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers. It's not a five...

This is an expensive area in the summer, so the Steamboat Hotel was really a bargain for the area. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Note that there is no elevator and there are some stairs to get to almost every room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The staff at the front desk was as...

For the area, this is a reasonably priced room. On its own, it's overpriced for what it is. That said, decent room, clean, and good location. The major bonus is having the river trail accessible right behind the hotel. Awesome to walk or bike and goes for miles and miles. Front desk clerk was surly but then again all in...

Photos show exactly what you get. A little outside of town proper but a free bus will take you into downtown and back so you don't have to deal with limited parking downtown. Front desk and staff are all helpful and friendly. Rooms are spacious and clean. Toiletries provided in the shower which was nice. No little bottles to fumble...
